  1. I can't be bothered trying to help anymore, too hard and too many smartasses.
  2. +1 for WA Suspenders
  3. Sorry have paintball in the morning
  4. When I bought my car, the guy thought the turbo was f**ked, blew HEAPS of smoke on boost.. he had the breather hoses set up wrong.. The PCV is a little plastic valve on the outside of the intake cam cover, it connects via a hose to the intake manifold and allows the crankcase to ventilate when the engine is under vaccum but stops the crankcase from pressurising when on boost. It *could* be getting stuck open intermittently I guess.. allowing the crankcase to pressurise and blow some oil past the rings.. When it does happen, is it after a little boot? or completely random?
  5. Little bit of gay music but still a good video, the Falken BMW and the Driftworks 32 are sick! and the skylinepart.com 180 with the bobtail and flairs looks fat as
  6. Shorty but a goody:
  7. where do you know ghosty from??
  8. If you *only* want to make 400rwhp then go for something like a 3076 with a big exhaust housing (1.06).
  9. Yeah keets.. lay off the skidz bro! Wait.. I know what the problem is.. you let the mrs drop a skid..
  10. Nope, didn't install it 180deg out. Was running like that for a couple of years until I took the car off the road in September.
  11. I'll take valve stem seals for $100. *tic-toc-tic-toc*
  12. Very informative thread as my bits are about to go to the machinist (as soon as I check clearances), thanks guys
  13. This is my favourite Nurburgring video from several years back.. talk about balls to the wall!!
  14. +1 It's either set too hard or not enough air is getting through. Also, what makes you think this aftermarket bov is open at idle?? if it's designed to be atmo. venting then I doubt that is the case as it would be a HUGE vaccum leak.
  15. Welding achieves what the minispool would do, shimming tightens the stock LSD back up.
  16. I don't know if you can buy a minispool for our diffs? R31 diffs are Borg Warners so no, a 31 minispool won't fit. Just weld up your stock diff until you can afford a proper mechanical.
  17. On my old 225/50/16's I ran ~36psi cold, the 235/45/17's I ran at about 40-42psi and I've found my 235/40/18's like 45psi cold.
  18. Nothing wrong with a good burnout!
  19. Agreed, 2-ways have to be driven a particular way and that's not for everyone. Personally, I love my 2-way and wouldn't have it any other way
  20. Learn in a Corolla or a Gemini like the rest of us did. You P Platers are f**king spoilt nowadays.
  21. +1 to both of those above HICAS is essentially a driving aid for inexperienced drivers, it is designed to induce understeer if you take a corner too fast (it reads speed and steering angle). Big one for me was that I couldn't get it to change directions when doing burnouts on the brake, once it was sideways it would just want to crab down the road. Locking HICAS and putting in a 2-way diff did wonders for the stability and predictability of the rear end.
  22. Umm no, it was to show how sketchy 245's on 6.5" rims are.
