I believe ossie had to get his car engineered. TBH, the highmount will cause dramas. I have done mine in phases, Phase.1 was get the RB30 in, running and licensed - I think the fact that it looked stock under the bonnet and the fact that power delivery wasn't huge turboish, helped. Phase.2 is highmount turbo and I'll cross the licensing bridge when I get to it.

I'm not a big fan of introducing oil/vapour back into the intake stream..

No, I got the VoomPC-2 barebones kit, then added local bought harddrive, dvd burner and ram. Screen I got from a mob over east, cost a pretty penny but I was pretty fussy - good quality, indash, single din and non-motorised..

Got it from mini-box.com, I got two to halve the shipping and have recently acquired the 2nd setup back (dude cbf) so will put it in the stag. Not sure whether to go for the same screen that's in the 32 or try for something bigger..

I already had the "DIIIIIIIIIIICKHEEEEEAD" call going before he actually it the pole lol Saw a few ppl I recognised but had to bail instead of going on the actual cruise (didn't want to push my luck in a car I'd only had for a few hours that handles a LOT differently to my 32 heh)

It spikes to 13psi then tapers back to 10psi.. I still think that is due to setup.. certainly hasn't been the experience with my setup. As I said, one instance does not a generalisation make.

This is why I opted to go for an actual CarPC solution, the case came with an intelligent power supply that takes in 6-24V (IIRC) and puts out a regulated 12V, it will even handle the voltage drop while cranking so the PC won't reset! It also waits a set time (I have it at 60sec) after the key is removed and then soft-offs the PC so you don't corrupt/damage anything. I also have a button on the dash that acts as a power/reset button incase I need to manually shut down.. or I get pulled over with pr0n on the screen

I got the R32 GTR coil sub harness --> here But likely due to our dollar sucking so much ass, they seem to be $275 delivered now I'd ring Nissan and see how much they want..

lol cheers which one? You can get them from Nissan but when I asked they had none in stock, was going to take 3 weeks to get here. Ended up getting it from RHDJapan and with shipping worked out pretty much the same as buying it from Nissan but I got it in 1 week instead of 3

Hyperdrive remapped my ecu. R32 is 10psi stock, and my untuned ecu handled 14psi through the stock turbo and 12psi through the RB25 turbo (still didn't hit R&R but it pinged when on 14psi). My guess for the misfiring is the coil harness, I had mucho problems and was swapping coil packs in and out. Turned out it was the plugs that go onto the coilpacks - the insides were falling apart. $120 for a new harness and it's mint
