  1. Fuel pump is a must, don't want a dying old one to cost you an engine! I'm a fan of 044's mounted in tank and know personally of such a set up supporting over 500rwhp. When I had my RB20, the stock ECU handled 14psi through the stock turbo and 12psi through the RB25 turbo, after looking at the stock maps they are more tolerant than 33gtst's but not as tolerant as 34gtt's. You're looking at somewhere around 250rwhp untuned and probably a fair bit more after a tune. NIStune is also (IMO) your best option for management.
  2. That just jap link says they suit 260RS aswell so they would fit all C34's yes?
  3. -100killerwasps.
  4. I would say none as a FMIC is a supporting mod in itself. Before you put the RB25 turbo on you want to make sure you have a decent fuel pump in there.
  5. I still wouldn't load it right up until it's been tuned though. The inbuilt tool for changing the afm and injectors comes close but odds are things still need to be massaged to be running spot on.
  6. Sucked in to the Honda rice fan boi! Get a real car!
  7. I had a hella spongy pedal after fitting the new front brakes. Did some extensive bleeding on all corners and it's excellent now, didn't have IGN on and didn't touch the ABS unit. Oh and fitted the master cylinder stopper last night, MUCH more direct pedal feel.
  8. If you have a User license for the software you can go in and use the inbuilt tool to change AFM and injector size, this should get you close enough to drive it to the workshop (just don't boost it up).
  9. $1100 is about the norm but I'd be making sure you get a Single User license for the Nistune software with that... Board - ~$260 Fitting - $beer (I have a mate that does the soldering for me) Single user license - $200 Tuning - $400-500 (~4hrs on dyno @ 100-120/hr) Total - ~$1000 OR Buy the board yourself direct from NIStune, find someone to fit it, then just pay the tuners tuning costs.
  10. The unmodified RDA954S's I installed are still working great with no issues.
  11. Had my diff guy install the LSD centre out of my 32gtst that I shimmed up, in to the Stageas housing. Upon opening the diff, discovered it had a 0.8mm on one side and 1.4mm on the other, I replaced these with 1.49mm on both sides. It's pretty tight, can feel it doing it's thing similar to the 2-way in my skyline but not as harsh. Very predictable now, the open centre in 2WD mode was just downright scary! The mrs hopes it wears in and stops skipping though hehe
  12. Tested 2WD + LSD in the wet this morning.. definitely lights both wheels It's pretty tight, can feel it carrying on like the 2-way in the skyline does but not as harsh. The tight LSD + bigger front swaybar has given a bit of mid corner push but it's very predictable and turn in is much nicer! I'm thinking once the bigger rear swaybar goes on it should remove most of that mid corner push and make it a smidge more tail happy Overall, very, very happy with the budget mods.. $50 swaybar, $220 diff ($20 for shims, $200 for my diff guy to set it up)
  13. I got some vids of Brads wagoon on youtube, on the skidpan with no front propshaft Edit: here yas go, enjoy!
  14. Have a s2 RS4V, kept the stag housing with existing crownwheel and pinion, put shimmed up LSD centre out of my 32 in to the stagea housing. Had to use the 32gtst half shafts and transfer the ABS rings over from the old shafts. The flanges on the 32gtst half shafts bolted up to the stag axles fine. Also fitted a 33gtr front swaybar, couldn't fit the rear one as it didn't come with rubbers and there was no way the stockers would fit Haven't given it a good drive yet as had a boot full of crap on the way home, does feel like it turns in a lot nicer and has less roll. Can also feel the diff doing its' thing, need to finish reinstalling everything on to the carpc and get it back in the car so I can turn VCT on.. it doesn't even contemplate trying to turn the tyres without VCT **hopes it rains on the way to work tomorrow** P.S. cheers to chuckie for his help!
  15. Pulled the diff out last night, dropped it off to my diff guy this morning to have the shimmed LSD out of the 32 installed
  16. Any chance you can take a pic from the side but further out? so can see what the wing looks like in proportion with the rest of the car
  17. Well it came with my gearbox as "33 shaft", dunno what else it could have been from, z32? Come to think of it, the same place also sold me a supposed 32gtst shaft that turned out to be from a 180sx so who knows!
  18. Really? Because I did just that while I was waiting for my custom shaft to be built and it certainly did work.
  19. Yesterday fitted a missile switch to engage super happy fun time 2WD mode, not long till Powercruise!!
  20. WIN! Especially the part about shurikens and ninja clouds I don't get bogan hassling me, I think it's got something to do with the beard I do however, get hassled by wankers in expensive euro cars and it seems every soccer mom or station wagon wants to race the lolvo
  21. Good work! At the very least, if he is actually a police officer, he will get his knuckles wrapped for being a dick. If he's not a police officer, he will have real police knocking on his door soon
