  1. Finding a decent machinist is quite hard nowadays. Performance Unlimited and Ranch will do everything I want except the crank mods. Looks like it will be Southside for the crank mods and then most likely Ranch for the rest of the work.

May have it on video, haven't had a chance to go through yet but I got a few incidents down the back straight on footage, once was a pretty close call between a couple of cars but can't remember what they were. As for SONIC and full boost etc.. I would imagine boost levels would vary according to how many people are in the car as once it starts wheelspinning it's not exactly loaded up too much, the more weight, the more load, the more boost it makes..
  6. I get it all the time in the wagon, everyone wants a piece of the lolvo! Mostly it's soccer mums, anybody in a station wagon and riced up FWD's (like the lime green poosar yesterday *smirk*).

  8. No worries I put some adj. rear upper arms in about a month ago and pulling out a heap of camber made a huge difference! Have since also put the tight LSD and 33gtr front swaybar in (at the same time) so that made a rather noticably better difference too, just need to fit the rear swaybar and look at some adj. stuff for the front.

  11. Exhausts are louder when cold, the puddle would have cooled the exhaust down and then it warmed back up.
  12. W2A on a track is useless. W2A is used for short bursts of power as water can take a lot of heat quickly, but in return takes a relatively long time to dissipate that heat. For sustained power A2A is better. That is why track cars use A2A and drag cars tend to use W2A. Would have its' benefits on the street but not sure about getting stuck in traffic, I imagine the system would heatsoak fairly quickly and stop providing any benefits.

I don't think it's a case of having a "working PCV system" as that is more the manufacturer designing something in to control something else in the engine (i.e. a valve to control the pressurising of the crankcase). I believe it's illegal due to the fact that whatever goes in the intake, has to come out through the catalytic converter. Nothing can be vented before then so you can't run your breather system venting to atmosphere, just like you can't run your bov venting to atmosphere. That's also the reason that screamer pipes are illegal, but you could make one legal if you mounted a small cat converter to it and muffled it to keep it below the accepted noise level. Note: can't can be read as shouldn't
  21. The 2WD mode from the manual works 100% and does not damage anything. I have confirmed on the hoist and on the street there is no preload on the transfer case when in 2WD mode. I also was in 2WD for the whole weekend at Powercruise and nothing is broken.
