  1. It is possible, just more difficult. Same as R33's, you need either a z32 ECU or an RB20 ECU + RPM window switch for VCT.
  2. Your lines that go TO the cooler and FROM the cooler, get plumbed to the thermostat so that it bypasses (returns to the engine) around the cooler.

  4. Ahh butterfly per runner
  5. Didn't the red top RB20 have dual runners with a butterfly in each secondary runner?
  6. S2 RS4V ftw. It's the first auto car I have purchased and I don't mind it at all. I put a mild shift kit through the auto and that made a huge difference to how it handled/put down the power. My wagon has a bigass highflow, full exhaust, fmic, Haltech (soon to be NIStune), Tein coilovers, 33gtr swaybars, shimmed up LSD out of my skyline and some slotted rotors up front with greenstuff pads. Also got a carpc running datascan all the time and a programmable CB for the country trips. Hauls ass, is an hillarious lunchbox and can fit heaps of shit. I love it. The ULTIMATE tourer, I do several several-thousand-km trips a year as well as driving it to work daily and it loves ALL of it.
  7. Wut? 1x 044 mounted in tank is good for over 500rwhp..
  8. You're in Busso? I'll be in Busso/Margs this weekend
  9. Would probably work well with its' own radiator, bit safer than hanging an oil cooler in the wheel arch.
  10. Looks like you run water through it..
  11. ARC airbox to suit 32gtst, needs new element - $150 RB25DET Neo AFM, replaced with z32 - $50 Split dump pipe to suit RB20/25 - $50 Stock R32GTSt steering wheel - $50 Items located in WA, will post at buyers expense. PM or SMS on 0422 985 854
  12. Much of a muchness, I'm running an unmodified Navara drive.
  13. If I left my keys at the front desk, to come back later and be told by the cow behind the desk that she'd given the keys to someone else, who subsequently stole my car, I would have punched her in the ovaries.
  14. Hmm good point..
  15. Suppose it would be wishful thinking for Urabus and Neesan to share the same filler cap thread From what I can tell, it has two inputs and one output so you could run it on your RB while retaining the PCV valve (both cam breathers to unit, unit to breather return on intake). Whether the bonnet would close though.. certainly wouldn't in my 32! (bonnet barely closes over the timing belt cover)
  16. Awesome build! that bonnet kind of makes it look like an old 300zx.. As far as diff ratios go.. I did something similar with the RB30DET, it didn't rev it as much so lost speed in each gear (made me slower than a stock RB20). Going from 4.3 to 3.9 made better use of the abundance of torque and while being a bit less brutal, it was much nicer to drive.
  17. The media did label the skyline.. the article heading was more than enough.
  18. 250hp shot of naws
  19. That's hella dodgy, I hope she doesn't still have her job..
  20. Yeah pulling your shaft in public will usually get you arrested
  21. Will it fit on an RB?
  22. I have a 3L'd R32 GTSt for that.. why would I buy a commodore?? Stag in to RWD keeps me happy until the 32's engine is back together. Anyway, I much prefer the sound of a hipo RB torching the tyres over the sound of a ecotec v6 or chev v8. No idea mate, don't see why not.. it works on 33 and 34 gtr's AFAIK.. give it a bash
  23. Stags are an excellent compromise for a daily. Now that I can drop big smokey burnouts, I love it that little bit more!
  24. I didn't buy a Stagea because I thought it was a sports car (althought a lot of people do, and think they can make it go like a skyline.. which it will.. but one that is 0.5t heavier!).. that's what I have my heavily modified 32gtst for I bought my Stagea because I wanted a practical daily driver (auto and lots of space), looked at commodore wagons of the same era and the build quality difference was chalk and cheese. The added benefit of "keeping it in the family" meant that I was already familiar with the engine and driveline, and the guy I bought it off had already spent all the big dollars on suspension, turbo etc
