  1. EBC do pads for S2 Stagea, chuckie should have the part number, if not I'll ring my mate at RDA and get them. Actually, they're probably in the big brake upgrade thread.
  2. The "long nose" crank is just a longer oil pump drive, it doesn't change where the harmonic balancer sits. The aftermarket balancer is probably bigger though.
  3. I'd be keen for one for a 32 aswell.
  4. Is that a drain from the first (horizontal) can, through a filter and back to the sump?? I say drain as opposed to breather as it's on the bottom of the can..
  5. I was under the impression those "approved workshops" couldn't remove yellow stickers...
  6. Carbon Schmarbon.
  7. Whatever the turbo builder says.. Should be somewhere up around 19-20psi, at least that's what mine is supposed to be good for.
  8. I doubt it would nose over up top but it would certainly come on boost a fair bit sooner, giving you better midrange. Different story on the 3L though.. Split the difference and that's where an RB25 with stock turbo would be.
  9. Bet you get diverted to some dodgy little outback airstrip
  10. Good thing I'm parked in the convention centre.. might have to knock off early though so I don't get stuck in traffic on the way home At least I'm not driving a 45t truck down Welshpool Rd hill this time
  11. Nice +1 for the impact screwdriver I've already got an N1 pump and while there are no cracks, I can visually see wear on the drive surface and that worries me. I'm also not in a position to shell out another 1.5-2k for a new oil pump so if I can get some stronger gears for my N1 pump, then awesome.
  12. Dude, I have held a series 2 compressor wheel, in pieces, in my hand, and it is most definitely NOT metal. For everyone else, here's the dyno sheet:
  13. If you get caught with one you will get charged with something under the Telecommunications Act as transmitting on those frequencies is a BIG no-no.
  14. I've got a sheet showing 12 and 14psi with a 25 turbo on an RB20, if you think it's worthwhile, I'll post it up
  15. That's very good to hear got any more specs or details? how long has he had them? what does he rev the thing to? Cheers!
  16. Most likely.. then it comes down to dollar factor.. JPC only want $350 for theirs..
  17. Why did you block the front oil feed? With my N1 pump I saw 100psi by 5000rpm but that's as high as my gauge went. I would be wondering what restriction is causing the high pressures.. someone knowledgable engine builder needs to come in here and have a read but could blocking the front oil feed increase the pressure abnormally?
  18. +1 The flat spot is the ECU saying NO until the airflow drops below the threshold. You can clearly see that the boost spikes, power dies in the ass, boost drops (and thus airflow) and then power recovers..
  19. I came across these KEC gears not long ago but I had never heard of them (the gears, I know who KEC are) and am quite dubious.. I am more inclined to go with the JPC gears as JPC are reknowned for building tough RB30's whereas Kostecki's are reknowned for their big v8 work and ripping customers off (re: IM240 testing).
  20. They are most definitely NOT legal.
  21. I don't know WHY there are no speed cameras in the tunnel because it's definitely possible. They are all over the tunnels in Sydney, every couple of hundred metres there is a radar on the wall! f**k I love the sound of a hi-po Nissan in the tunnel
  22. WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!
  23. Orbital weren't open to the public AFAIK.
  24. Up for sale is my Garret GT35R, it has the 0.82 A/R exhaust housing, is brand new in its' box and comes with a 4-bolt dump flange and spare T3 flange. Price - $1600. Willing to include shipping if it's not too far away (i.e. capital cities), PM to discuss.
