  1. Ooohh, personal dig? You cut me deep there Alex! Only seen two NM's "dressed up" as PM's. Mine (which is being converted back... the ignorant fool!) and a white RX which was on Carsales around the time I was converting mine. lol @ mutton... some might say a superior heart in the mutton as opposed to the "fragile" lambs
  2. Nope, Mobil vs Caltex story n the US triggered it, but I presume the result over there was the basis of the forced label changes over here. Warning, a bit TL;DR for those not really interested. http://www.syntheticsbestoil.com/mobil.htm
  3. Fully synthetic or 100% synthetic. Group IV is 100% synthetic is it not?
  4. You will have to dismantle your dash either way, so it is all up what you want. If you just want to play your iPod, get the PA15-NIS adaptor. If you want to replace your entire head unit, might as well get something decent in there that does everything.
  5. Haha, I know. I clicked on the thread and the only post I saw was Josh saying "PM me and I'll get you some coin". Josh, I didn't actually send a PM... but I can if you are just throwing money at people who PM you!
  6. FYP They are about 20mm longer than the NM headlights. You can see in the pic below with the NM headlights on a PM front bar. Direct comparison (lights are the same height). Adam - there is a reason we are pointing you to Yahoo Auctions via Import Monster or Jesse Streeter. Only place you'll get stuff at a reasonable price. I bought a pair of PM35 headlights 3 years ago via Import Monster for under $500 shipped to my door. Good luck trying to find them over here for that price.
  7. Two headlights via EMS will be around $200... from experience
  8. Nissan Australia, RHDJapan (send them an email, they'll list it and give you 5% discount), Jesse Streeter, Import Monster Part numbers are (left to right design in the pic below); G4911- AQ000 G4911- AQ010 G4911- AQ020
  9. The tabs in the front of the bonnet line up with the two folds that go from the front to the rear of the bonnet. If you find a bonnet you think is right, post it or PM me the link and I will check it for you if you want. No, definitely not.
  10. Yes to all (at a quick glance) As Alex said, front bumper, grill and also bonnet will be needed.
  11. About damn time. White wheels on white car look ace.
  12. Thought not, but was not 100% certain either way
  13. Probably the nicest M35 for sale. GL with sale mate.
  14. Agree, and rip that felt off. Just make sure not to do the Dukes of Hazzard slide over the bonnet
  15. Headlights, bonnet, front bumper and grill. Front quarter panels from an NM35 will accommodate PM35 headlights/bumper/bonnet without issue. 'tis where I got my PM35 front end bits from to do mine.
  16. What about something like these? http://www.superchea...716#Description EDIT: these are what I use http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Stanfred-CRHP750-Car-Ramps-Adapters-AS-NEW-/160717039104?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item256b7b6600#ht_500wt_1287
  17. Certainly can retrofit the button controls and wire them up with the integrated head units... not 100% on the single DIN unit like you have. Nice purchase by the way. Black leather looks nice for that interior
  18. Aaron would say no if he saw that question Josh, but I will say yes. "Nickcor" has been driving around with his 19mm spacer and his engine cover on for ages now (since mid-2010?). You just won't be able to screw onto the studs at the front without bending the cover or replacing the studs with longer ones.
  19. You'd need a 5mm+ spacer for the 9.5 +40 to clear the strut although it'd still be close.
  20. It is. Since this car needs a new front bar, bonnet, quarter panel, grill and at least one headlight, why not to a PM35 facelift? Only difference in amount of items is that you'll need a drivers side headlight (which you should be able to grab via Import Monster or Jesse Streeter) From this To this Just a thought whilst you have the opportunity.
  21. Not necessarily, my Stagea was insured for more than that when it was written off. Had bumper, bonnet, passenger side headlight and quarter panel damage, plus the steering rack was off centre after the accident. Was written off because it was too difficult to get the same parts/panels I had on it.
  22. He is still driving it around without a tune... although the BCM is letting go so he has intermittent wipers when it is dry and none when it rains (lol!) among other electrical eccentricities. Have one coming in so should be back to normal in less than 2 weeks, but has had no mechanical issue at all. Only other thing that was done was a Race Radiators custom radiator installed at the same time.
  23. Nah, no extra chopping... just pick a lower hole for the bracket (near bonnet clip) to be bolted into.
