  1. Jasma is a certification, not a company that makes exhausts
  2. Do it!, These cars need a high flowing cat - fumes are fkn stinky and needs to breathe as much as possible. http://www.ebay.com....f7#ht_543wt_905 These cats work nicely (I changed from a de-cat front pipe to a front pipe with one of these).
  3. As slippy said, there should be only 2 cats (dump and front pipe). That "main cat" as you call it, is a massive resonator to quieten the exhaust. You can replace this with a bolt on "cat-back" exhaust.
  4. GTS-167, bring one in from Japan if you have time. It will work out cheaper for an Autech than buying from a yard and you will be able to get one with genuine kms. I'm not so sure I'd be looking at a VQ25det Stagea if I was racking up that many kms and planning to sell in 3 years. Don't get me wrong, the VQ25det is a damn strong engine and the car in general is very comfortable and reliable, but unless you need the space or have the modifying bug, surely there would be a better suited work car? Yes, the turbo is an issue at some point. It, the radiator, a front wheel bearing and wiring to a cam angle sensor were the only issues I had in over 4 years ownership. I bought my car with 82,000 on the clock and it had just under 235,000 at the time of the accident... still running very nicely. Word of warning though, unless you have a really good mechanic (and one that listens to you), consider this car a DIY service/maintenance vehicle.
  5. That's pretty good economy Andy, just the Nismo? 114kmh is radar friendly? Even in a 110kph zone, it's around a $140 fine below the Murray... take off the 3 points for possible error, still leaves you at 111 in a 110 zone... Yay Vic road rules, stopping all the dangerous driving!
  6. Oiled filters are only an issue for the AFM if over oiled.
  7. Won't have mine by then
  8. 6N211 is the number that comes up for the sensor if you go through FAST. There is a second number to left on the part numbers table which is the updated part number (so 6N21A in this instance). I don't have a screen shot as I am on the wrong computer, but most Nissan dealerships state the default part number and their system automatically updates the part number for the order.
  9. Yep. Original part number was 22680-6N211 for the sensor itself which was used on 02-03 Elgrande (VQ35de), all M35's, 01-03 P12 Primera, 01-04 V35's (NOT VQ35de) and 03-06 VQ30det powered F50 Cima's. This was changed to 22680-6N21A in Dec 2006 which was only used on the F50 Cima VQ30det thereafter. Interestingly, the sensor used for just about all other Nissan's (including T30 Xtrail, J31 Maxima, Z33 350z, VQ35de powered V35's, V36 Skyline and PM35 Stagea) is 22680-7S000.
  10. Why not try tuning your Fcon before you go cutting brake wires? I think you'll find cutting is not necessary
  11. Yeah, I reckon it would... considering changes made to the tracks, let alone the cars to make them "safe", no chance (or a very, very slim chance) that DRS to be activated anyway is deemed safe. Would put a lot more emphasis on the drivers skill though. Can you imagine Kobayashi allowed to use DRS anywhere? I'd pay to watch that Well Bernie did mention they were looking at short-cuts that can be used a certain number of times each race a year or so ago...
  12. Good to hear you got it sorted, bastard it was one of those seemingly intangible fixes (cable tie? Really??) ECU's? I can help you out with that
  13. Completely agree... but would be deemed "un-safe".
  14. Missed that he stated he had Coupe rims on his Sedan OEM sedan rims/tyres are the same all round and Coupe rims/tyres are staggered.
  15. Nah, fronts and rears are the same on a sedan
  16. That's them. Let us know how you go turbo-ing a VQ25dd. Maybe you should hit Scott_nm35 up for some VQ25det manifolds?
  17. Instead of getting a replacement Nissan thermostat, why not log into RHDJapan.com and buy a Nismo thermostat. The work perfectly and you will have no issue with this confusion you seem to have. If you need a Nissan one TODAY, then give Nissan your VIN and they will use that to look up the correct part number. Also, sometimes Nissan parts are changed, whether minimally or completely redesigned, thus the older part number is superseded. This is the reason there may be more than one part number for a particular part. Having said that, I can assure you that the Nismo thermostat for VQ35de will work in your car. .. as it does in my mates V35 (VQ35de + T), another friends J31 Maxima (VQ35de) and a number of Stagea's (VQ25det). It will also work in the Stagea that I have coming from Japan (VQ35de). Dunno what else to tell ya, we have been playing around with these cars for around 5 years but hey... what would we know, we don't own a "350GT"
  18. Yes, it is correct. Nothing unique with the V35's VQ35de... exactly the same as a 350z. VQ25dd, VQ25det, VQ35de all use the same thermostat, oil pump, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter etc.
  19. Yes, and the two cam angle sensors are different too due to the angle of the plug. They are all different part numbers in FAST.
  20. Rods are the same as in the VQ25det, so no problems with strength
  21. Pretty sure he is referring to these
  22. Could just about get a set of new Nismo one's for that.
  23. Some reading for you Nick http://m35stagea.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=245&start=30 It would seem that my PNM35 has the same cruise control... or at least the same stick to control it.
  24. Interested... hopefully (for me) still available in about a month
  25. Silver M35 250t RX Four (YLW-xxx) in Mornington about 20mins ago. Followed it down Nepean Hwy on my way back to work (was in a black Magna). If anyone on here... please get larger wheels or at least larger tyres. What you have on it at the moment could fit on a Yaris FFS!
