  1. Quick search for "battery cover" brings up this Paul http://www.skylinesa..._1#entry5148591 Any Nissan/Infinity dealer in the US, I went through West Covina Nissan for mine, but they are not so cooperative since Tony left. Might even be some on Ebay Motors. Should be a bit cheaper now though, I believe my mate got his recently for around the $100 but really needs to make up a couple of brackets.
  2. Best combination between comfort, economy, tyre wear rate and handling. Any lower and it felt soggy and I found a noticeable decrease in economy. You go lower or higher? Reasoning? EDIT: I should mention that was with 225/55/17's although I did run the same pressure when I had the Nismo's (234/40/18).
  3. Yep, that was mine. Hmm, 750 bucks currently for a leather interior, popup screen, reversing camera and Nismo exhaust which are all in good condition. Turbo, intake, dump may be okay, but I don't know. Steering looks fine!! Oh, and that headlight was fine Alex The other one, well that was in a million bits... instantly. Can't believe how readily they disintegrate! Scott, and what radiator cap to you have Mr. Mishimoto? Should've grabbed that damn G35 battery cover
  4. 40psi all round
  5. Half of what you are referring to is cam timing which the Fcon cannot change (neither can the Vmanage), but yes, you can modify how the throttle behaves. Not that you'll have a need for it, what with selling and all
  6. You would, you don't expect much from your car
  7. Fuel filter replaced and injector parameters changed back to stock size, the car ran beautifully for well over 1000kms. By default
  8. Yep, soooo much harder then hard wiring in an eManage
  9. Don't think he'll have an issue. Why do you think it's difficult to get it working?
  10. 1 & 2. Yes a VQ25det powered Stagea can definitely be reliable. If you are not prepared to learn, expect it to be an expensive exercise though. 3. Fuel should only be 98. Do not put 91 in there... unless you are out of fuel and need a couple of litres to get to the closest servo, then put 98 in. 4. If buying through a dealer, recommend Northshore Prestige and Japlink. 5. No. 6. No experience, so can't answer 7. Shop around. Shannon's are good and reasonable but others have had reasonable premiums with other companies. Need a new mindset from the Commodore. Stagea's are not a generic car so best not to treat/think of it as one.
  11. Probably because they were being run out earlier this year by HKS for around the $1500-2500 mark which is the price point people view them at now... fair or not. Having said that, definitely a nice kit and, having just put one on a V35 GT8 (exhaust only other "power" mod), make the car all it should have been in the first place. Definitely recommended.
  12. Amsoil oils are Group IV. They do not have a Group V oil... as told to me by a number of Amsoil dealers (AUS and US) and by Amsoil themselves.
  13. Not so much about cooling from a certain temp, but if you have a thermostat that opens earlier, then it is easier for the cooling system to maintain the lower temp as opposed to one that opens 10 degrees higher which has to work harder to bring the temps back down that extra 10 degrees. Similar, but reversed, to boiling water - much easier and quicker to bring hot water to the boil than cold water
  14. Win7 and Chrome here, only issue is with Fkn Telstra and their internet service (at work - no probs at home).
  15. D5 Delica = S.L.U.G.
  16. Haha, glad that XC70 isn't silver Nick, could get confusing.
  17. They'll only want the VIN to cross reference it in FAST and make sure of the correct part number
  18. I'd suggest you wait just a little bit to do that.
  19. Why wait for a GB, just PM Dale when you are ready to buy
  20. Thanks guys, yep, STAGEA_KING is right it would seem GLSSW - Privacy glass TELV2 - TV Navigation DVD TELV4 - J-Navi CD STFRW - Electric power seats STERW - Bose sound system YEAR6 - Fog Lamps KYLS4 - Intelligent key and immobiliser Makes it all the more interesting....
  21. Awesome, thanks Paul
  22. Yeah, I know but it's the other ones I am after, Dale!
  23. So I've been looking on the Auction sites for a PM35 and think I may have found one that suits, but when I run the VIN through FAST I am greeted with a number of factory options that have never seen before. Just wondering if others have had any of these options, know what they are or can translate them for me please. Whilst I know what the TELV2, ETCS2 and STERW are, I haven't come across the others before.
