  1. yep - its your atessa pressure line. The main issue is the fact that it will probably only leak when it is running (ie - puttting any poer to the front wheels) which will make it hard to see in action, unless you are the sort of person who doesn't mind sticking their head under a moving vehicle Take the line off and have a good look at the sealing area. You may be able to use some teflon tape if it is a tapered thread, but if its a crush fitting you might have to take it down to EnZed or somewhere like it and get them to slap a new fitting on the end.
  2. the guy is full of shit - trust your instincts d00d. why the hell would any car manufacturer produce 2 different versions of the same cylinder head at the same time for the same motor? The only thing I can think of is he may have a manifold for a Neo motor that he is trying to fit to a non-Neo motor (or vice versa?)
  3. sweeeeeeet - seeing as though Mitchy and the traitor mobile have already bailed I have never rolled naked on the bonnet of an S2 before so I am looking forward to it.
  4. ...when Ramjet takes his proton pill the crooks begin to worry..........
  5. I lauged my ass off at the pr0n music + fadeback of the Honda Leadwing with unit....
  6. no wai!!! *feels crushed* That means you have to try and keep it on the QT for another month! heh.
  7. d00d, if you watch it carefully, you will see that the clip stops just befgore any overlap begins and then loops. If the exhaust valve really closed that fast, how long do you think the valve seat would last? It would have been much better if the clip was unedited for a few strokes at least. suck, squeeze, bang, blow FTL Force, squeeze, bang, blow, FTMFW!!!!
  8. Sounds like a plan tiger - let me put in an application to the Activities Manager and I will get back to you.
  9. I can't say for sure until I have negotiated with She Who Must Be Obeyed, but I would be interested if someone will offer me a ride (Hint Hint Sean!!!) As for the datto? I was joking! But, maybe if I hooked up a 250hp wet nitrous kit so I could keep up, it would be an interesting experiment to see if the engine would last the day
  10. Nah - I got that gig in mah Datsun Sunny - 1200CC of pure powah!!! Brads not the only one you have to worry about....I know what u got!
  11. PM sent
  12. OK folks, I have finally decided to bite the bullet and see if anyone is interested in buying a complete stagea that needs "some" work. Most of you here know, I am the proud owner of what I am fairly sure is actually the first Stagea to be complied in WA, and possibly australia. After an altercation with a WRX, it now sits in my drive with the front end smashed in. I am 99% sure that it could be fixed with a front cut as the front sub frame and all the important bits are fine, but pretty much everything up to the engine block will need to be replaced. (front bar, headlights, radiatior, radiator support panel etc etc) I had planned on doing it myself, but I am trying to renovated a house atm, and to be honest, it still makes me a little heartsick to look at it. I have decided that I am not interested in selling any parts off it - whole car only is for sale. The car is basically a RS Four with a different level of trim inside (woodgrain FTW!!) and the RB25DET has only 94 000km's on the clock. The interior is imaculate as is all the undamaged parts of the body. It has an australian bulit mild steel exhaust and 17" speedy wheels with 70-80% tread. All mechanical aspects of the car have been fastidiously maintained and are in excellent condition. I don't have any pictures of the damage at the moment, but I plan to have some up in the next few days if anyone is interested. Until then, these photos were taken the day I got it (5 months and 3 weeks before it got trashed )
  13. well then Kirstie, breed damnit! And a big congrats to Darren and the family. Just remember tiger - "screw the world, I'll make my OWN people" <insert evil laugh>
  14. Jeez, for that sort of moolah, it would be cheaper to get it rego'ed over there and drive it home
  15. welcome Just a couple of pointers. Do a forum search on the M35 and read EVERYTHING you find. There a few people that have had issues with importing them. Not very nice ones either. DO NOT put any details of any cars you are planning on buying up on this forum until you have won the auction / paid for the car. This is a public forum and you may find more people bidding on it and hence a higer purchase price when it does go to auction. It has happened before. Oh, and I have an obligation to do this... (I have a reputation to uphold )
  16. do u guys still wear no undies under yer kilts?
  17. Sorry, I was having a bad day. I had just washed my brain and I couldn't do a thing with it My point was, ATF is used in the power steering, auto trans and atessa.
  18. Umm, don't you just use ATF fluid in the power steering resivior?
  19. Most of the cops in Perth don't know what the hell a Stagea is anyway. I was caught in a police shut down of the last Ignition DVD Hotspot and i was the only one of about 80 cars that got waved through the exit without a breathaliser or licence check
  20. if it uses internal mercury switches, then yes it will explain why its not working, but not why it has tripped the g-force indicator.
  21. its the big box under the centre console with exactly 1 crapload of wires coming out of it. I haven't pulled it out yet, but when I do I will post pics.
  22. Thats what I was worried about. I have a good mate in the freight industry, I will have a chat to him about getting it freighted, and if I can get it insured and I will get back to you dude.
  23. don't even bother trying to get it complied here in WA. I have a lot of respect for the new guy on the block....... and I might just leave it at that, but yeah, get it complied interstate, you will save time and money.
