  4. ive seen this happen. time for a tune up. your engine is not handling the thrashing well. could be a range of different things. depending on how exactly stalled. ie. as soon as rpm drop back down to idle state. or did it idle for abit then stall. EAch of these things signify different reasons and different things to check. speak to a tuner.

  14. Guilt-Toy your a legend !. Gave turbonetics a call, and they can get them new, like you said, they are using chips they can source and doing them by order in japan only. then sending them upon request. and if you get them thru turbonetics, u can get an australian warranty with them. (oh yea, Quoted price was $1550. and a 4 week wait. good work no rumor at all. problem solved for me. - CHeers dale.
  15. Very nice Mafia, Hows getting traction like, when rolling it on? I was leaning on the .63 to be more reponsive and better suited to a street RB25 than the .82 option(especially if you like to use the midrange more). although the .82 option would probably help with traction issues. This is exactly the combo me and dale have been discussing recently. As I will be setting mine up quite similar. Its great to see some results of this setup finally, Thank you ./ Note * There is the GT3076R in 56T with the .63 your using, and there is the 7 blade GT3076R-WG which is available in the .64 in 52T. more similar to the HKS 3037 ProS in trim size, but the .64 a/r that is available from garret is same a/r of the standard turbo. is this GT3076R-WG with .64 in 52T the other one you were referring to dale? All this has just made the Headache of my turbo choice even worse :S.
  16. nice, Now it slots in the holster properly. hopefully thats the last time i gotta open it up . Cheers.
  17. Mine was different again. the R34GTR pump is fatter, cased in Rubber and is Black in color. Im also having issues, As also I cannot get it all the way down. AS the pumps casing has also its own Hose clamp on it. which is in a position that it fouls the side of the tank also, and I cannot just turn the clamp around as the clamp has 2 teeth on the far side of the clamp which earths to the middle of the pump. Wondering if i should just remove the pumps casing clamp altogether, but this earth will no longer attach.. Mine didnt have that Weird thing on top of the pump near the Terminals like yours does ben.
  18. oh ok, guess im gonna have to pull it back out. Better to be safe then sorry i guess. Thanks for your help ) much appreciated.
  19. **yea i just cut the hose down to about just under 2 inches long, and used the R34 sock. In regards to the Extra negative wire - With the R34 Pumps they have a control wire, that makes the pump harder or softer. I just used the original wiring off of the GTR PUMP which splices into the negitive. And hooked it up just like the GTST one with the main 2 wires, with the 3rd wire running off the main negativel, It just wont be able to be controlled like in the R34. I was advised it will just function at its max compacity all the time, similar to the GTST one. There was a bit of customization I had to do with the PUmp as it is Quite FaT and wouldnt go all the way down. With the R34 it has 2 plastic Mounting brackets which are apart of the pump casing. These have to be cut off, for it to be able to slide into the tank properly. as it will reach a point and not go far enough for the Mounting ARm to slot into the top of the fuel tank. Up and running now, sounds sweet. works well _ couldnt be happier. oh yea ps. I couldnt use a hose clamp to clamp the pump, had to remove the clamps to get the thing sliding all the way down. I tried to reposition the clamps but it just wouldnt slide down. so i removed it then it just slide down. - Cheers.
  20. OK , looks like the GTr pump is different, The wiring going ot the pumps is different . The GTr pump has 3 wires going to pump, The GTST one has 2, Positive and Negitive, Where as the GTR one has 2 x Neg and 1 x positive. Is this some sort of Control wire?. The second Negitive that goes to the GTR pump, Earths to the side of hte pump, And it has a different plug. This second negitive that earths . Now I am not sure what this wire does really and if the pump will work without using this 3rd negative that was hooked up in the R34 GTR. any ideas? kinda stuck with the pumps out :S ps. Also the GTR pump doesnt look like it sits in the Fuel like the GTST one does. its got a Long hose to sock (about 30-40 CM long).
