Hey mate, I currently have a set of HSD HR coilovers in my 32 GT4. The ride confort is giving me the mc shits on sydney roads. How would a set of coilovers (in terms of handeling) stck up against your springs and shockies? Ride comfort would be much better with your kit but would I loose much in handeling? Would I need to look into sway bars aswell to stop the bodyroll? Cheers mate

I too am very interested to see how SK's set up stacks up against coilovers. I couldnt live with a car that does not handle well. But these coilovers are giving me a serious case of SARS at the moment. Very seriously thinking bout doing the change.

take carpet out of boot. Lift carboard cover. Unscrew the cover on th right hnd side Check those hoses and replce them

Nah.. dont buy a GTR, do the swap!.. Gts4's are uncommon as they are.. do the conversion and its even more unique! Even better, De-badge it, or put GTS badges on it! Btw. What 4wd torque controller do you have? How effective is it? Is there much more grip with it? cheers,

Bahahhaha @ BB! Was it a funny angle? I vote both of you boys pick up your dignity and work through it. Get quotes, see what parts you can source yourself, see what work you can do yourselfs and.. and shitty as it my be for your mate, go 50/50 in everything. Im sure he will inderstand. How bad is the damage? Complete pannel change or just a dent?

You see, I read all these things. I know the diff ratios are diff from 32 and 33. Icontinue seeing these threads pile up with the same information. But when I did my conversion. The ratio's were the same. I dropped in a DE which may have been the diffrence. Lower gear ratios for a less powerfull engine. Makes sence. But yes, the easiest way to do it is as Elk said. swap the wheel and pinion over. Or get a 4.375 rear diff. The 32 gearing is ver short as it is, depending on what your planning to do with the car you may find it a better option to change to a larger diff ratio.
