  1. Lol Ash shall be the ultimate Varex judge. X-Force should advertise it on their site "Finally after all these years, the seal of approval from Ash of SAU"
  2. God i cant wait for this to be finished. Make sure you take plenty of high resolution pics once its done
  3. I hate crap hanging off my keys. My alarm remote is enough. I've been caught out with a flat battery in the remote while sitting next to the 50 at lights and they just stared giving me dirty looks as my car sat there shaking next to them. So definetely would like a constant 12V switch, shouldn't be too hard to do. I have switches for everything else in the car, might aswell add another to the list lol.
  4. What are you on about? Hamish clearly said: He never said anything about changing the factory suspension.
  5. I once drove my car down the street with the wastegate flap wired open to diagonse a problem (so more or less the same thing as this thread). Pretty sure a senior citizen carrying a push bike under his arm while having a discussion with himself and trying to do the Macarena flew passed me. In Einstens terms, the theory of relativity broke down as the senior citizen was actually travelling faster than the speed of light relative to me. I actually saw him in three locations spread out over 100m at the same time. Was really weird. I dont think i'll do it again.
  6. I've been thinking of ditching the remotes and hooking it up through a relay so i can just have a switch inside that controls it. I find it a bit annoying searching through the centre console for the remote quickly in an "emergency situation".
  7. Yeah im confused why you are mentioning VCT and SAFC in the same sentence. They are completely unrelated.
  8. Wait up, so your going to be selling the car in a couple of months?! So why the f**k did you go to all this effort to be able to drive a GTST converted to a dodgy GTS, then convert it all back to normal and then sell it? Why would you not just buy a GTS, drive that around on your P's, then buy what ever you wanted to when you got off your P's? You would have saved time, money and making yourself look like an idiot. My god what the hell is the youth coming to these days.
  9. +1 for your setup the money would be a waste. Spend the money on a tune and fuel pump as i dont see any form of management listed.
  10. Coppers for the win.
  11. He'd be talking about Today Tonight.
  12. 300rwkw on an unopened RB25 and you aint running a catch can, Hamish!
  13. Very nice Did you sort everything out with the nitrous/water-methanol? Runs all good?
  14. Yeah what is with all that oily residue on the outside of the plenum I think if the tune was thrown out by that the leak would have to be pretty substantial and you would notice is very easily. I wouldn't worry about the tune side of things, just fix it up and if you are worried chuck it back on Trents dyno.
  15. It's a pain in the ass man. Get yourself some ratchet spanners, only way i would ever do it again.
  16. Yep change the gasket dude. The gasket has probably gone a bit hard in some areas and caused the plenum to not be flat anymore. I'd just put it down to age.
  17. If you would be interested in selling me those GTR seats and i will give you my seats and a cash adjustment let me know
  18. Ok dude you really don't get it do you. Just because you are lucky and getting cops that don't know the laws very well doesn't mean what you have done is legal. Not every cop knows every single law.
  19. Hahaha thats crazy. God ud be pissed getting beaten by a 4WD in something like a R35.
  20. Yeah its not the best place for enjoying a modified car. Hopefully if all goes through i should have my car out doing circuit work this year. Really worried about water and oil temps going throgh the roof though. Most of my "spirited driving" is done at night time where i never have an issue with temps, day time however is a bit of an unknown.
  21. Yeah the humidity up here is very annoying, walk outside for five minutes and feels like you have walked into a shower. I notice a huge difference from day time to night time driving here, mixture of humidity and air temperature definetely has a very noticable effect.
  22. I've driven them all and i would go the R32 for an overall package. Depends what you want the car for though.
  23. Hahaha that is awesome, will have to get one for the missus car, atleast then ill want to drive it
