  1. Where did you read that the heel-pad wears out quickly? & any info on this other heelpad you mention? Supplier, etc... I am looking at getting a set of these very soon (direct ) & this may change my decision... Am VERY glad now that I JUST "missed out" on this group buy...
  2. I think newera imports may have them. They definitely sell them, just not sure if its for R32 or R33...
  3. Check out JDM Obsession in the sponsor section. They should be able to help you out with something although probably in SuperPro... & just for your knowledge, these are not at all fun to fit...
  4. Damn that looks big on his car! Do you have dimensions of the 2 cores? Also interested to see if parts can be purchased seperately... Like just core & thermostatic sandwich plate
  5. Just so you're aware the stock GTR diff is a 2-way mechanical LSD although not very aggressive...
  6. Pics added. Can't add them to first post or even modify heading which is a pain Not the best quality pics but you get the idea... Brett - 0423 303 007
  7. I have removed the A/C from under my dash & its not hard... Remove glove-box, from memory theres a plate behind there so remove that too. Then next to blower, directly under glovebox, is the A/C core in a plastic case, which is held in by a heap of bolts. Remove that then you can split it in half (held together by tabs) pull the core out, & refit the plastic case. This plastic case acts as part of the ducting for the heater & fan so if you use these, it needs to be refitted or replaced with something similar (have seen 4" domestic A/C tubing used) or you will have nothing. Few things to note but... The alloy A/C fittings that poke through your firewall are part of the core so if you remove it you will have two holes in your firewall. Some grommets from Clark Rubber will fix that. There will also be two holes in the plastic case where these same fittings poked through that. Once again, grommets or something similar will fix... & lastly, I would suggest putting some flywire, etc between the two pieces of the plastic case when re-assembling it. Without this you will have a lot of leaves, etc come through the vents that the A/C core used to catch. Fair bit (but not HEAPS) of crap caught in & around my core when I done this...
  8. These guys are doing almost twice the legal speed limit. So he could have (& can only guess, most likely did) looked, saw they were a fair distance away, (not realising the speed they're travelling at) pulled out, then next thing they're on top of him... Edit: Beat me to it Kieran
  9. The exh temp light will pop up when the ECU has logged a code. Do you have a laptop & the tuning software? If not where are you located?
  10. Rear GTR diff is a standard mechanical 2-way although not an overly aggressive one...
  11. Wouldn't go cross-drilled as they have problems with cracking... If you can't find DBA for the price you want maybe consider slotted RDAs? As for pads check out GLSRallySport (or something like that) in the trader section. The QFM HPX pads are reportedly better than Bendix Ultimates & only around $80 a set. Haven't tried them yet myself but will be very soon...
  12. Seeming there's some people in here who know a bit about race style suspension, what do people think of the UAS R32 front-upper arms? Have heard magical things about them & expected them to be the first thing mentioned when I came in here...
  13. You need to use the 20 engine mounts for sure & I think the brackets too. Can't quite remember with brackets tbh but I'm pretty damn sure. But yeah 20 mounts, 100%. From memory you can sort of tell by looking as one set will mount rather flat while the other is more angled...
  14. Shit, I was dead keen on this too! Just damn lucky I held back payment until buy was a little closer to finishing... Seems so wierd that this guy has done heaps of these group-buys before & always been fine, then all of a sudden does the johnny. I'm spewing as I really wanted these mats but I suppose nowhere near as pissed off as people are who have paid & may still not get them. Hope you guys get this sorted anyway...
  15. Speaking of unrelated topics I just had the BEST toasted cheez sandwich eva! It rocked my sox... Now, notice how I incorrectly spelt some words there? This obviously points to my poor socioeconomic status... I should probably just neck myself but alas I can't afford rope & furthermore have to go & pick up my cousin from jail. When I get home I might advertise my mint cond. low km car for less than what shit-box examples of the same model are selling for. I'll then wait for the rudest, most arrogant prick I can imagine to e-mail me (e-mail so I know he's serious) then offer him an even better price! BTW, I only JUST found out there is a limit to how many idiot points (neg. feedback) you can give in one day. So thank you OP, your sheer stupidity has actually taught me something...
  16. PM BH_SLO32 (Ben) on here. Not 100% but he may be able to help. Has done some wiring conversions for me & mates, does GREAT work & very well priced...
  17. Think the one I got was for AU/BA but in saying that am pretty damn sure they're all the same... Have you actually tried fitting it or is it obviously WAY too big? I am in Cranbourne, near you & I just went to the local Repco to see if they had a listing for R33s. They didn't but I knew some of the guys through work so he went searching with mine as a sample & came back with a Falcon item. Worked a treat!
  18. As above, have a set of D2 coilovers for R32 GTST. Brand spanking new, in bags & box. Bought these then realised I have a GTR rear end so these are no good to me... After $1000. Making absolutely nothing out of this so no low-ball offers. Located SE VIC. Best reached by SMS on 0423303007 Prefer local pick-up but can post at buyers expense.
  19. Go to repco, R&E autos or similar & grab one to suit a falcon. Perfect fit & half the price of genuine...
