  2. If any have seen HPI dvd's...there's a drag skyline with 15" rims on it! they had to do something with the brakes if i remember....more sideall flex, just like the funny cars, means traction.... Good topic, because i a looking at getting some RE55s for the 16" Advan rims that came with my R32. I need some serious traction for my rb31 Ho good would some RE55 be on 16*7 rims on the front, and 16*8 rims on the rear, also what would be the best tyre sizes for these rims? (sorry to hijack a little )
  3. me got a poor ecuze for a gb r33 one....bearing grind go for tune up in 14 dayz full boozt run

  9. I need to adjust the height of my Bilstein Shocks, and need to borrow someones spring compressors if they will let me So anyone out there with some, could you let me know here, or via pm. Ill only need em for the weekend, so i wont be too long with em cheers :aroused:
  10. Glad to hear dude
  11. I think i know whats wrong here.... The Power fc has a plug on the side of it for the boost control kit. It would have a loom that plugs into this slot (next to where the commander goes in). I dont know if it would still require splicing some cables into the main loom. It would have plugs for the solenoid, and pressure sensor....then a plug to the pfc. When you buy the full AVCR you get a loom that has a plug for the solenoid, pressure sensor, wires to be spliced into the loom, and a plug for the blue screen. NO part of this loom gets plugged ino the actual computer itself.....like the kit does You definitly need to find out if you have this loom to use it....
  12. Sorry mate...if its never easy for the rest of us, what makes you think your so special??? Well....get cracking and take the muffler off, then tell us what ya find??
  13. dont have a dead rat in there do we
  14. ive got the whole AVCR kit remember, not just the boost control kit....you may have everything, you just need to know where the wires go edit/ yup you have the same deal as me...do you have a loom that connects the pressure sensor, and the solenoid valve to the ecu?...id assume it would be the same as what i have, minus the connection to go to the blue screen conttoller....in that case the plug off the solenoid valve, would just go into the free plug, then all gets wired into the ecu?
  15. Chris, im just looking at my AVCR (i bought the whole blue screen job before my rb20 went:() Its going on in a week or so when my motor gets some boost pumped in (YAY ) I assume you are talking about the Solenoid valve? Mine has two wires coming out of it going to an electrical plug (One's pink, the other is a dark grey colour) These get plugged into a plug on the AVCR loom that ive got....this loom connects the solenoid, the pressure sensor and the blue screen controller, then loose wires which get spliced into the ecu loom. The plug from the solenoid changes (from pink/grey) to a red wire and a pink wire on the avcr loom. the red wire as far as i can see goes to the blue screen, as well as the IG power wire into the ecu....the pink wire off the soleniod plug i can see it goes only to the blue screen plug....dunno what you do with it if you havent got the blue screen though... Your welcome to come check out the setup i have, incase you cant understand my dribble ....or just ring Shaun
  16. Its a typo probably... Im running the AP engineering with RX-7 series 5 injectors (550cc) and have no problems.... High impedance injectors are std, as is the rx7 ones....dont worry
  17. yup. cheap plugs work the same...bcp6es replace em 5 times over with the cost of the others
  18. Joels got a z32 now too.... Ask if hes got the wiring diagram
  19. Have a little faith in my driving To take the timing belt gear off i drilled 3 holes into the gear inline, from the end of the snout of the crank towards the motor, taking care not to go into the crank. (Dodgy, but be careful its ok). Then i used a chisel and weddged it into the hole created by drilling, and kind of tapped it carefully, till it wedged in the gear, then kept tapping and it split the gear, and opening it just enough to slide off....obviously you kill the gear, but i needed the oil pump.....meh. It sits on the crank on a pin too, so it wont twist (duh).....
  20. Lol Hey Look Rezz.....hes In The Carpark Now!!!
  21. is that a custom front end to make it fit?...or does the r34 front end just bolt on up to the r32.....? looks porn
  22. The new model Monaro VZ i believe will be released here shortly....it should look similar (not exactly) to its GTO brother. It will have the bonnet vents (like the ones on the US version) but they will be a little smaller and sit a little more forward than the ones in the photos..... Pretty radical jump from holdens id say....add a turbo inline 6, then they may get the top spot in the market back. When are they gunna realise what people want?....Ford and Mazda may outstrip Holden in sales in the future....
  23. On older cars, (read old holdens) It used to do that if your timing was a little too far advanced.... Dunno if its your problem though...
  24. My thoughts too.....
