  1. These have the little "m" symbol on them that approves them for fitting, as well as the VIA mark on them. i can take a photo of them to show you...ALL LEGAL!!! And for the record, these are in brand new condition..... Still available, so make an offer....
  2. I havent heard anything yet Jaik.... have u sent them out yet???
  3. ive dummy fitted 9.5" rims to the rear of my r32 Roy...same offset as i have on there now, (going from an 8" to 9.5" rim) and it clears the suspension the same. I was told i could get away with it if fitting say 245 wides on the rim...but i dunno if that would help you on the track 265's....may be pushing it a tad.....255's....maybe...just
  4. on an r33 yes.
  5. ive had my r32 with the power fc sitting in it roy with no battery at all in the car for over a week...same as having it out the car.....and it dont forget Roy Interesting about the low fuel light....i havent seen it come on either with my pfc installed too....probably cos im too scared to let it get too low now with me bosch pump
  6. I like how people argue which x product is best....without bench testing each against the other. (not having a go at you inasnt...everyone does it - me included ) I just think about how many people like the Power fc, then bag Apexi for their boost controller - which was made to be used in conjunction with the Power fc (see plug on side for boost controller kit) The boost controller kit is the same as the AVCR, but doesnt have the blue screen, due to the fact the commander hand controller does the same job... I chose it, and it seems to have what i want....im happy

  15. larger injectors always mean bad fuel consumption.... More power = more fuel needed....as you know Joel My RX-7 550's use about the same as std economy when off boost, but like said above, dont expect std fuel economy with some big guns installed
  16. Im an ADR welder...lol...spose its about time i made something for the car, rather than just buying a jap bolt on solution.... Im suprised no one else has seen this before? Or is it just me? ....i remember a mate had an old LJ Torana that used to snap the linkage up under the firewall...had it welded up and strengthened.... Hmmm.....Anyone be interested in buying one of these if i make some up
  17. Hey Dave, i put mine in meself Basically do em up the same way you put the studs on the wheels on your car....opposite ones at a time. Do em up semi tight (i used some low strength loctite) then work your way around once all are down to finish off. You should see the plates compress slightly as you work around. If you go slow you should feel it get tight then stop. They break easy...trust me I ended up buying a new set from the local fastener supplier. Not expensive to replace. There is no torque spec, just go as tight as you feel they will go. Mines all fine so far
  18. ill show ya me new engine then Matt ....you'd be suprised
  19. os gearset is good (4-4.5k?)...you can choose long or short ratio too ...then dog / or trust(10kish), then hollinger(20k?)
  20. Ive got a r33 gb in my r32, with an os giken twin plate / flywheel behind the rb31det. I had some drama with the clutch this morning (found out it ran dry of hydraulic clutch fluid?? ) Anyway, i got someone to pump the clutch after i filled the little clutch reservior up with fluid. Now i know the os twin is a heavy clutch, but the firewall had a HEAP of movement from depressing the clutch!! Is there a clutch mastercylinder stopper, similar to the brake master clyinder stopper (like the cusco one pictured below)? what can i do to help stop the huge movement the firewall has when i use the clutch??
  21. off topic, so hows the 180 treatin ya these days steve? better/worse than the r33 ya reckon?....or just both unique?

  23. 33 has electronic driven speedo. R32 is cable driven....but they both need a signal to work And yes, it helps jacking the front end up, remove the power steer lid, turn the wheel, and watch the bubbles come out....job finished when their gone.
