  2. Ok...everyone. Dont worry bout my back. I have taken appropriate action at work, and seen the doctor. His advice WAS to lay on the floor because it does help And it does work for me..... Thats why im after some info on what consists of the tradtional Japanese bedding...i dont wanna end up using my swag in my bedroom to sleep on So, anyone got any pics, or links to show me what i should be lookin for?? Any help would be grealty appreciated
  3. i used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the injector plug clips...they came off with no hassles... I replaced my throttle body gasket and aac valve gasket on mine (i had every gasket replaced on my new motor etc.) as every one of em is at least 12 years old....go the Nissan genuine 'cos their cheap, and not worth replacing later if they leak
  4. yes...i do think about it....and i have taken appropriate action. i need a new bed anyway, cos ive outgrown my last one (had it for at least 10 years now) and i need a stiff mattress... Had a posturepedic...but it feels good when im on the floor...hence this topic.... Now if i could only find a Traditional Japanese Futon maker in Adelaide.....
  5. Yeah...i mean what, you only spend say...1/3 of your lifetime sleeping....
  6. Winging foreigners ...sorry guys...lol
  7. lol...i spose it wouldnt be
  8. How about Holden be true to the origional design concept of the late 60's and early seventies.... Give me the LC GTR any days.....MMMmmm GTR (True torana fans will know there is a gtr, not just the japanese Hi-po version of skyline )
  9. Howdy... First off im not being a stereotypical English...just thought id ask, cos i dont think its been mentioned before I have a bad back from work somedays, and i find lying on the floor helps a lot. My bed has seen better days, and combined with the fact ive outgrown it long ago, i need a new one. I thought id ask the guys living in Japan...Do you guys sleep in the traditional "roll it out on the floor style matress" bed?? Sorry if im way off here, but im really serious about finiding some information on the traditional Japanese bedding style. My back really does get bad, and i think if i started sleeping on the floor it would help me a lot... Which ones of you guys said stuff it, i like my beds and i aint givin it up? Any info on what makes up the traditional bedding etc would be greatly appreciated Thanks again in advance
  10. Injectors will come out with electrical plugs still attached, and the injector loom all still attached and on/in the fuel rail...just trace the injectors plugs back to the big plug and unplug it. Then undo the 2 x 12mm bolts holding the fuel rail onto the lower half of the plenum and rock / tease the rail up and back to remove it from the lower plenum...should have rail with injectors and plugs all still attached...with only undoing the 1 electrical plug and the 2 bolts Removing the injectors may be a bit of a pain...ive heard their a bit of a head --- to get out. If it was me, id be taking the rail with the new injectors and new o-rings to a shop to get them to fit em...peace of mind that they shouldnt leak... reinstalling the lot is a piece of pi** get new rubbers that the nozzle ends sit into, and push em into the injector holes, or on the end of the injectors....check which is better...push injectors into openings....bolt holes on rail should sit where the rail bolts in if its gone in ok..make sure lower rubbers are still ok, then put in 2 x 12mm bolts... I think when you turn the key it should prime the fuel system, so wait till you hear the pump stop, then kick over....?? Oh yer...adjust Power fc sttting too...lol...or just get someone to start and tune as necessary...
  11. I did take notice
  12. Well...im not making any excuses....so heres a list 1-100 reasons Troys car sucks the balls with the rb20 still in it : 1...... Just kiddin mate...its just cos i didnt get to buy you a beer before we left on the cruise isnt it :uh-huh: Sorry i didnt thrash your car like you wanted.... Ill try harder next time...:nowigetit
  13. I might be wrong...so call me stupid ...... I think the engine has to come up or out to take it off...the oil pickup sits into the pan a bit though a hole into the bottom... Bit of one of those jobs that are a pain in the butt.....like every god damn thing else that needs fixin :bahaha:
  14. Your reading it out of context.... I was saying it in the way that a) Get the best possible alarm system available. Use everything you can to hold up the criminal from either stealing your car, or stealing anything from it.... Which means the more time they have to spend disarming, clipping wires, opening bonnets/boots etc....gives you more time to react in order to save your car... I said the above quote in reference that if you DO have everything possible available to you, done to the car to make it "Fort Knox"....a thief (there are professional thieves in society, not just the local Fcuk wit who takes your mommas daily driver to get a lift back home....) will be able to steal your car IF they want it bad enough... So is your car worth all the hassle to steal if you got everything possible to protect it? With the average car only being std - moderate upgrades, you have nothing to worry about....
  15. depending on how bad it is, it may be able to be knocked back out. Just an excuse to take it out and fit a gated / winged sump...well thats what id do...replace what goes Dents can kill your motor if it get oil starvation i belive....
  16. Yup now worries ....*scratches head*..."Whose gunna let me drive thier car, cos Troy wont be here then ..... Had a great time :) edit/ might bring mine out if im lucky

  18. You arnt sitting in the backseat with a baseball bat are you wrxhoon No, i agree.....tracker installed and box welded into the car somewhere....no acess unless the car is stripped, and taken to with a grinder...all comes down to how much time the thief needs....
  19. Lets try not to get into a "Garrett vs. HKS" thread mk. II..... People are discussing size, and more importantly the rb30det I dont think lag would be much of an issue on the rb30det anyways ...
  20. yer, twice over std...(0.040" thou)??...me dont know much, but Joel knows the details....lol I hope that works out to 3.1....well close enough for me
