I waited for 3months before I found mine as new they were close to 2k back then. Keep an eye out on SAU, Ebay etc..
  2. Care to share a dyno sheet? Always good to look at awe and provide proof of claims.

A bad taste is where in the products history it has performed Poorly. Hence the bad taste left over from the older greedy emanage version. Apparently the Emanage Ultimate is better. But the damage has been done. Its left a bad taste. Absolutely nothing to do with slackness. URAS has good results with them. Get him to tune it. Go to some one who doesn't know its in's and outs and you are likely to not get a nice tune without spending big $$ for dyno time and fiddling around. Quite obvious really. Now that the PFC is out of the picture it may very well take off, the tuners will be forced to spend some time on the greedy as they become more common.
  4. Definitely awesome... Strap a stick to the end of it and you could give some one a hiding.

A lot of tuners have a bad taste in their mouth when they hear the word Greedy Emanage. As a result some will steer you away from it. As with everything.. Some tuners deal microtech, some autronic, some microtech + powerfc. Use the ecu your tuner feels the most comfortable with as you WILL receive the best tune doing so. Paul.. 440 is for a full tune.
  6. rb30 ceffy, The part number 48521-35A06. Is that a nissan or aftermarket/brand part number?
  7. Mine only makes 5psi or so on the 2nd or 3rd hard rev. Never on the first rev, thats a RB30det with a standard size turbo.
  8. I have a press but find I rarely use it. I was told subframe bushes are difficult, I was also told castor rod bushes were difficult. A drill with a drill bit ( to drill a bit of rubber out so you can get the hack saw in there), and hack saw a cut then smack it with a cold chisel (use the cold chisel on the cut you make) and its out. Easy as. Even if you do struggle to get it out which I don't see why you would. Pop down the local mechanics and have them press it out and the new in. They usually charge $10 or so per bush. The hard bushes are the silicon filled bushes such as the subframe and castor rods on the R32's. Regular bushes are easy.

Drop sliding performance (slide) a PM. Ask what he can do a highflow for you while your there, maybe do a bit of an exchange type thing + cash adjustment.
  10. Thanks for the guidance Dave. The helical I'm looking at is realatively cheap, they hook up well in a straight line and very streetable. Now that you mention trackdays. Should it get its leg up in the air.. Back to clutch mechanical it is. Thanks.
  11. Thats a busted coolant hose? Where's the oil coming from?
  12. I wouldn't touch it.. Doesn't appear to be a straight through muffler. Looks like one of those crappy jap mufflers that taper down inside.
  13. Only the support beam is what fouls, from the outside it won't look any different. The bonnet its self is fine. Both with the wider gtr upper cam belt cover and the narrower rb25 upper cam belt cover.
  14. Most often than not armed with a hack saw, cold chisel, small/mini sledge hammer, and a drill with various drill bit sizes, a vice and or various exhaust pipe size to smash bushes in with you can replace basically any bush yourself.
  15. After looking at your pics I've definitely come to the conclusion the Noltec R32 subframe bushes definitely are not suitable for the R32 GTST. Noltec state they are fine with the R32 GTST; they really are not as the stud simply does not have enough length, the nut only 'just' grabs with approx 3/4 of its thread. In the future I will most likely remove mine and shove a set of Racespec bushes in as I'm not happy with how much thread the bolt has holding on to the stud.
  16. Good to hear. Cheers for the bump; I've replaced the pics through out the tutorial that were lost during the recent forum software update.
  17. Cameron, A mate recently dropped a set of Sard 800cc twinsprays in to his setup. He runs the rb20det pfc on his rb30det and using the technically correct values the thing just would not run. I played with the values (what they are; I can't remember) until it ran and got the o2 sensor swinging. The only thing I could think of is the twinsprays some how throw everything out, we didn't check fuel pressure all though once on the dyno all appeared to be good. Perfect cold/warm starts, no drivability issues, excellent fuel economy and expected duty cycle for the power being made. To this day it still won't run with the technically correct injector size and lag trim. He also runs a Z32 afm. I've seen the rb20t pfc do funky things previously when running a non-std afm. Your problem isn't related but for others in the future.
  18. Kralster Buddy... Whats with your recent post in the wanted thread? For real or what? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...amp;st=60
  19. Yes I noticed that also.. The Whiteline upper control arm bushes have better lube setup. They really are easy as to fit up, no pressing in or out required.
  20. He still does them? Nengun they are around $180 delivered but currently out of stock. --- With the stock bonnet the top cam belt cover fouls the bonnet support beams. Both GTR and GTS4. Some one did mention that the cefiro rwd cross members mount/position the motor lower. Quite possible its the same for the cefiro 4wd crossmembers. Chances of finding a 4wd cefiro cross member is pretty slim, and even then it may not bolt up.
  21. Yes ramps are good but for the general stuff I prefer axle stands + chocks under the front wheels + the wheels under the car also. Rock solid, doesn't move, absolutely no chance of being squished.
  22. Troy, I've recently fitted up the redranger front end bush kit - adjustable castor, adjustable upper control arm, lower control arm (that I didn't fit as mine were fine) and sway bar bushes. Picked it up for $380 but have since seen them going for $314 Damn cheap. Time will tell if they hold up. Done a couple thousand on them so far, no real noticable increase in NVH.
  23. Have a look in the workshop listing sticky. Graham West, Blackwood Auto & Dyno & Hitek dyno to name a few.
  24. Take a deep breath and face your fears. DO IT DO IT DO IT!
  25. This about right.
