  1. That's a company selling services, nothing to do with apple itself... All that information is free on the apple website.
  2. 179cm 55kg coming to terms with fat put on How are you fat with those stats
  3. I use a thumbless grip. I did squats last night but it just went naturally to low bar again with wrists bending, argh... I think I just dont have the flexibility to keep my wrists straight. I will try high again Saturday with 80% of my 5rm and see how that goes. Hand grip should be as close to the shoulders as possible right? Because that's what I do, helps tighten up my back.
  4. Oh ok, I've just been doing it the way Mark Rippetoe said to do it but I'll definately try the high squat again tonight, i just dont have the flexibility to keep my wrists from supporting the weight when I use the low bar. Do you happen to know if there is different lifting style for the overhead press as well? Rippetoe say's it's ok to arch the back and point elbows out passed the bar in the starting portion of the lift then sort of pull yourself under the bar so it sits directly over your head on lockout. But I look at videos on youtube and people say not to arch the back?
  5. Anyone here squat with low bar? I do it but having a problem with wrists recently... Thinking of switching to high bar but this doesn't feel as natural to me.
  6. I got convinced by EB to pre-order this (had traded in a lot of games so had store credit). Never played it though lol, best be good.
  7. Had salmonella about 3 years back, worst experience ever.I never eat chicken out now because of that.
  8. Put Penrite fs 5w40 in ($45) instead of the usual mobil1 5w40 fs (~$90). Will see what the oil looks like after a couple of thousand k's.
  9. We get the point Boz, PC's are better than Macs. Edit: I think the reason there popular is down to consumerism really and their ideal market (people who don't know how to use computers lol). In saying that I like my macbook but I will always be a PC person.
  10. Although I 100% agree with what's been said you guys should really stop telling him what to do, I'm pretty sure he got the jist of the benefits of compounds a long time ago. If he wants to devote a day to arms then let him do it, not optimal though! Chicken, brown rice, veg and olive oil is a healthy and easy way to get calories in so do that. You can also freeze them if you are time constrained like myself (although I recommend cooking the chicken as you need it, tastes horrible after its been frozen)
  11. I'm mostly a PC user but I bought a macbook a few months back and its great, just much more simpler to use etc. Haven't used my PC in a long time since I got it.
  12. Jack3d been banned in America and i think soon here as well.
  13. Ahhh yep, didn't see that log. You would have be a pretty low bf% to be 70kg at 6'1 so yeah I agree with you 100%.
  14. Yeah you're right, but you mentioned not to count calories. If you don't count them then it's easy to overeat (gain lean mass but end up with excess fat) or undereat (not gaining). I dunno I guess it comes to personal goals really, I just assume most people want to gain lean mass with minimal fat gain and not have to go on a pointless cutting phase.
  15. Not counting calories is a bit stupid, well IMO anyway. If you don't count calories you will either a) get fat or b) not put on weight. Find your maintenance and add 5% extra each week until you gain. If you don't want a lot of fat then ~200g a week if you don't care ~500g a week. Over eating does NOT make you stronger.
  16. You're leaning back when you lockout.
  17. ooo fwend, skyline fwend /inbetweeners
  18. They're metal, but if it's on carpet it shouldn't really matter should it?
  19. Rack http://www.samsfitness.com.au/products/bench-presses--power-racks/powertec-power-rack Bench http://www.samsfitness.com.au/products/benches/powertec-utility-bench I'm not going to get around to setting it up until next week I reckon because I've just moved into my new home so I have a lot of other things to do (reason I haven't lifted/eat properly in over 2 months), lost 4kg.... I have weights and bar but I don't have a weight stack yet but will get one when I get around to it. I'm going to have the rack sitting on carpet, you reckon it's worth getting the matts for underneath?
  20. Bench - $400 Rack - $740 Delivery - $111 to Perth from Sydney (only place that sells them in Australia) Seems like a decent setup for home.
  21. Got my powertec power cage and bench yesterday, going to try and set it up tonight.
  22. ... Believe what you want (supplement packaging) but I'll take advice from a guy who has a bachelor and master of science in nutrition and over 18 years experience.
  23. I never said I loaded up on protein... no shit it isn't hard to space it out over the day, I just said you didn't have to. You don't piss out protein... Why wouldn't I take "slow release" protein before bed? I dunno maybe the fact that by the time I goto fkn bed I've already hit my protein macros for the day so there's a shitload that will be released over the night.
  24. because your body digests x amount of protein per hour regardless of how much you give it.
  25. you dont need to take protein spaced out over the day just like you dont need to take caesin before you go to bed.
