  1. go with what the exedy rep told u, afterall he is a trained professional.....we are just enthusiasts . they were VERY helpful to me. i just told them what i had/was doing and he told me the right setup.
  2. just got a exedy twin installed with a lightened ventilated flywheel. FIRST thing u will notice is u NEED revs on take off. i launch at 3000 and if i just drop it it will bog down to around 1000rpm. thats the MAJOR problem i have found. i know accelleration increases etc. however i havent really found that. i have to do more testing i suppose *edit...however i used to be able to cruze comfortably in 5th at 60km/h. now it likes it better to be stuck in 4th. so i guess u could say it likes its revvs now
  3. go to kb auto one....supercheap might have one. its called a oil sensor adapter. basically a brass extension with 1 hole to stick in the unit. u then take out stock oil pressure unit. wack in this adapter. then wack in the stock pressure sensor and wack in your sensor. feed off the oil at the oil pressure sensor location. found its best......had a fair few leaking sandwich plates!! sort of similar to this=
  4. no i live here
  5. most drifters i have seen have them. u can hear it...and see them in the dash. a mate has one on his 180 with stock turbo. only thing bad that has happened is he now has a gutted cat. question to the technical ppl. i have a gt3540 with straight thru -decat-. is there ANY way i will damage my turbo. i know it will only effect the turbo exhaust wheel and back.. is the 3540 up to the challenge? cheers' ps. how do they hurt motors if it only effects the exhaust?
  6. went back this arvo...hoping to fill up before a lecture. and its the same SHIT. packed full. so thought f**k this i will go to chancellor park, dont mind paying a bit extra (1.30 unleaded). HOW THE f**k CAN THE COUNCIL APPROVE SUCH A 'LUDECRIS' design with such a HUGE design flaw! CD please explain ffs. they had to realise it is the only petrol station servicing that area. and with so many people.......its way tooo small
  7. i was always told by my reputable mechanic to "MAKE BLOODY SURE IT HAS A 7 IN THERE"..refers to heatrange im told :S i just go into autobarn buy coppers with a heatrange of 7...thats all i know , and all i need to know.
  8. FARK!!! anyone used the caltex/woolies petrol station on karawatha drive? went down there this morning because they are 8c cheaper than the maroochy one @ 1.24 for unleaded. went past, traffic was spilling out onto the road-as usual!!. all the old precious ditties from the damn retirement home are filling up. the thing is there is only 1 bowser that offers 98oct, and all the common cars are using it instead of going to the furthest bowsers which offer 95ron and 91ron (which only have maybe 1-2ppl in the line), and not allowing room for others to get to the 98 ron fuel!!!!!!! so yea, i thought ok cool im just above empty, i will drive around for 10min, and come back when it is calmer. came back and it WAS WORSE. traffic is lined back to the beginning of the units. so i thought f**k this im just going to line up. 5sec later i saw a police car complete an ILLEGAL U-TURN (without lights), then proceeded to flashed me and other people in the line telling us to move on...."its a traffic hazard." so i f**ked off, and now have to schedule it into my day later between classes and work, because of POOR PLANNING, and top bloke drivers going to the nearest pump (which offers 98) showing no regard for other drivers. WHO EVER DESIGNED THAT PLACE IS A FARKING IDIOT. lol so that is me venting.....feeling better now
  9. buy once......buy right. EXEDY multiplates come with a sprung/dampened centre. so the gearbox doesnt take up the shock, the clutch does. it is alot of money tho. when i was looking at their single plate range i was "recommended" the brass button heavy duty clutch. they told me it can hold around the 300kw area,
  10. coool.. tracking down tyres with flame effect....now thats commitment
  11. do u have access to an easy out? drill into the stud. insert an easy out tool which has a reverse thread.. and voila. broke a few studs on mine when installing a h/m manifold.
  12. 1st one looks pretty good. last one HKS, but says GARRETT....hmmm... looks shit house too. capeat emptor bruuu
  13. just got a exedy twin plate installed. cost 2g's. rated to 700hp. comes with a lightened ventilated flywheel. go for it
  14. amazing. it doesnt look all plasticy and ricey like so many other wide body examples out there. the bar has been raised
  15. nice... not being rude.. but did u need the FMIC??
  16. pm paul33 he is a pfc expert. i would say a r33 rb25det... because it is using the 25's sensors and running gear.
  17. where has all this come from. "gay men are never catty". retract the claws eh. all cd meant was that when he accellerates he looses traction, and has had to control that. simple physics, in the wet.
  18. ummmmmmmm... ooookkkkkaayyyy . have a look on supra forums mate. im sure they could shed some light on this issue
  19. yea im so ashamed....i have discraced myself infront of my fellow bloggers. now just how will i forgive mysellf
  20. wow u are my new hero cypher cant wait to see your 800+hp
  21. it wasnt too bad last night from about 930+. chirped and stalled my way thru backstreets, kawana and alex sc. only saw 1 paddy wagon and 1 undercover ba falcon. apparently before i got there heaps of people got pulled over and had to be trailered away :S also heard about a lowlux with a 2way if we stayed at home everytime there were cops out, what kind of message would that send!!
  22. been there with a emu dude. they are useless. i used to be like u, not wanting a pfc. in the end they are soooo easy to install. and tuners are readily available
  23. u will never get a even debate on sau mate. 2J defeats all.
  24. FINALLY got my new clutch in....stoked. so if u see a silver r33 with "exedy racing clutch" decal on top rear window, please forgive me lol. still learning how to control a carbon-d twinplate. i stuck on the sticker hoping ppl behind me will make allowances. fark it bites hard. bunny hopped, stalled and chirped it a few times
