  1. ouch....way to help a mate out.
  2. lol at niskid. people who say crap like that. appear to only want to increase their post count. as a general rule. 35psi around is fine. however u should have been advised when they were fitted wat to run them at
  3. if its a greddy style one man. there is a diy tutorial. i followed it and worked out a treat. have a look
  4. ^^^ what he said. mine has an antenna iimage. then an arrow pointing up, and pointing down.
  5. fuel system + spark + turbo (3540) + fmic + pfc = and im runnin 16pound
  6. has the tell tail signs of hydraulic failure. bleed the system. if it is not cured. do what he said ^^^^^^
  7. dont do it man. people who buy them when u dont need them do it for the wank factor. end of story.. the only time u need to buy them is when u have been diagnosed with coilpack failure by a mechanic, then u need them. stock coil packs can handle 350+kw. ask r31nismoid. and there are dozens of threads here that have problems with them too.
  8. likewise. mine still does it with a tuned pfc. but hardly noticable.
  9. anything is possible man. but it comes to the point when u rebuild an engine that there are some things u just cant do yourself and need proffessionals. such activities include, block machining, block blueprinting/honing and balancing. also if u are doing the head u will need a regrind to allow room for larger cams. u said yourself u dont know much about engines. so i doubt that u will do a good job, no offence. it is best to just drop it off to your trusted mechanic. then u will be garanteed that it is perfect. pistons, piston rings, crankshaft, bearings and rods are an absolute biatch to install. a pro knows what they are doing and has done it many times. do not attempt if u are not 100 % on your skills.
  10. thanks for that captain obvious. chuck is not amused
  11. hhm ok i will start then - garrett/gcg 3540 BB, modified with titanium wheels. -it makes boost about 2800-3000rpm (at a half throttle test on stock ecu/ pfc was being prepped at the time) - dump flange is circular with a 4 bolt pattern. - forgive my ignorance, all i know is its a/r .70, with an exhaust of 0.82 - and is water, and oil cooled , and externally gated.
  12. make sure u have checked all the vacuum leaks. if that is fine. stick a atmo bov on
  13. shudnt u have a car to do this mitch bar and plate FTW
  14. buy a spark plug socket is one way.. but if u are a mechanically minded and have a socket set, get into it. from memory it is a 22mm socket. so get a deep socket and go for it. +1 for getting copper plugs, and regapping them to 0.8mm.
  15. i just had to upgrade to a new version or something so i could play online. now it seems that i am only getting into games that have a good connection, and i am seeing alot more aussies. BUT, there is a catch. the level takes longer to load. and instead of going back to the main menue when a host quits of something. the whole thing feezes and i have to either wait 5min for it to hurry up. or restart the console. just wondering if anyone else has seen this aswell?? its much better gaming, but getting into the game can take much longer sometimes
  16. for sure man. i cant remember the ratio....but there was a thread about tolulene and acetone. tolulene has better results. using 91 ron fuel + tolulene it bumped it up to around 100ish ron. research.
  17. thats an extra 3000hp right there
  18. they dont work full stop=google. use acetone...or even better some tolulene maybe u shud move out of the sticks *plays banjo*

  21. thats a real beuty cs student. after having rear bar kits on previous cars i am not a fan of them anymore. but u just cant beat thos rear pods. they are agressive, and not too ricey. cant beat that * also go the top secret kit....freaking awesome
