U ARE SCREWED DUDE. 256 is pushing it. any more and u WILL WITHOUT A DOUBT, need springs and solid conversion. also, common 264 or 260 d cams have 10.25mm lift. i sure hope that u have some decent injectors and a ecu to smooth out the rough edges. but its all worth it for that idle ^^of course those are procams....not poncams.

  9. just replace it mate. ask for a 3 wire EL FALCON 02 sensor. $70 from repco is a direct replacement

  11. basically a shim is a thin metal plate. and when u put a certain plate or plates in there it helps the diff lock.. other than this, all i could recommend is to re oil the diff...then see what happens. most people forget to replace the diff oil every 5000kms or less.. and the diff u have is a R200 item. which is a viscous diff. from what i have read is, it spins the wheel with least resistance.
  12. my setup. it is finished atm, but these are the only pics i have of it atm, they were taken half way thru the build :S. these were taken once all the main stuff was bolted on. braided lines, piping and silicone joiners also had to be added engine bay has also been tidied up, and is much sleeker.
  13. he has a f**ken sweet white silvia with a black vented bonnet with clear tail lights, r31, orange 180 and a few lines all in the same shed. also has this big yank tank thing....very nice.
  14. recently a mate just imported a ae111 sprinter. took 2 months. plus customs charged him extra money to go over it in a quarantine procedure. which was a 'random' thing that was an extra 3wks

  17. yea, so after say a year. the flange will have carbon build up. so if the butterfly valve gains a bit of carbon, even with it open, it will still restrict the exhaust. so a 3'' will be basicaly 2.50. this is my problem. have been thinking about this problem for a while. a clear exhaust =loud an impaired exhaust= quiet but restrictive :S
  18. forgive my ignorance, is this item flanged? incase i wanted to go back to my zetti muffler?? edit: is there any backpressure problems when diverting the gas flow thru a 1'' hole!!!!!!!!!
  19. just keep the mid muffler. or if u are really anal about it. put in 2 mid mufflers. works a treat.
  20. there has to be a 'little' bit of slack in the cable, other wise it will be under strain all the time and eventually snap.
