  1. I would remove the fan its probably more of an obstruction than a help.
  2. Would you sell the exhaust manifolds seperately and if so how much?
  3. I love the Japanese philosophy of parking. If you can stop on it, you can park on it. Oh and I was there for the recent Tokyo earthquake (the one before the Sendai quake) and felt it. They aren't much fun.
  4. 4 door R32 NA is a great car in my opinion. More practical than the Silvia.
  5. Yep - Consult port is great for this. Cable and software can be had for as little as $100 all up and the results are great. Nissan Datascan software: http://home.iprimus.com.au/tkolo/datascan.htm
  6. The under the seat plug is just from the factory seat belts. The seat belts get changed with cheap ones as part of compliance.
  7. Well R34's have Xenons from the factory (GTT and GTR at least) and in the conversion to halogens they usually stick H1's in. So I guess these H1 kits might work to convert back but who knows for sure. Check the top of your headlight you will see your globe type written there.
  8. This picture shows an R33 with factory option parking wand installed in the front bumper. That is what your car has (well it has the switch at least). Click here
  9. Car looks to be in good condition then and would be a good buy if you could get it for the price listed.
  10. Do luck make some nice kits (Type 2 for R32 GTR is nice) but this is not one of them. Yuck.
  11. So about this rust around the rear centre boot light. What are the signs? Bubbling paint? pull the trim off and look behind the light?
  12. I think it would've normally been ok but the reason you felt different handling is probably in the profile of the tyres. You wouldve had more sidewall in the 17's.
  13. So which is it, 3rd or 4th Im in anyway.... ps when am im going to be put in the club members group
  14. Close. I'm still after some LMGT4's but im wanting those in 18x9.5. You'll see in a couple of weeks. The reason I want to do it is I already have some brand new bridgestones lying around which were on my car when I imported it and want to use them. Otherwise I guess I could just sell them and buy some new rubber but these are quality tyres...
  15. The SARD catalogue tells you if they make an 800cc direct fit for RB26. Not all SARD injectors are the same so your best bet is calling someone who sells SARD injectors and reading the catalogue to give you the part number. SARD do however make RB26 injectors in a very wide variety of sizes so im sure you could find something 800cc or close.
  16. That sucks Tommy. It's your tyres though. I personally love the rain and was having a great time yesterday with the wet roads. My front torque split guage peaked at 42.1% - that's the highest I've ever seen it go! I must've been spinning all four for it to resort to that.
  17. heh the northern suburbs is a bit shocking with the cost of rent averaging $350 - $420 per week for a 1 bedroom apartment. About $300 for a studio apartment. Prices start at $480 for a 2 bedroom place. These are Chatswood central prices so places get cheaper if they radiate into the smaller suburbs away from amenities. They get more expensive though if its got a view (North Sydney for example), and they get more expensive again if its one of the prestige suburbs (there's a lot of wanky suburbs north of the bridge). You can find cheaper if you are willing to share accomodation or move into a less than perfect place you can get away with as low as $260 - $280 p/w. You may not find suitable parking at those cheaper locations though.
  18. Is it physically possible to stretch 245 tyres over some 10 inch wide wheels? I may have to find this out unless I can trade in my brand new bridgestones for some wider rubber somewhere...
  19. What am I doing wrong guys? Noone ever wants to race me at the lights
  20. What are you doing this or next weekend Jerry? I would like to take some detailed photos of your seats at some point before I go to the trimmers. I'm sure your busy for fathers day though I think I would prefer red stitching on mine as the rest of the car is already red stitching. Im not trying to replicate the M-Spec exactly - just the general idea. I do plan to spend enough to get a decent grade of leather though.
  21. haha - poor guy - you better change your fuel filter in case you sucked up any crap from the bottom of the tank
  22. Cool, thats a good hookup you have there even if you do need to do a bit of work. How do you go about getting a full set of new clips? These are things I break every time I do something on the car so I wouldnt mind having a spare set lying around. I swear I just LOOK at a clip and it snaps in half... Anyway what is your current paint code? GV1 (Black Pearl Metallic)?
  23. I did MC a boat load of times and never bothered with much fire resist. Took a few Greater Fire Protection pots in for Ragnaros, that was about it.
  24. Where are ALL the smilies! ARGH I cannot adequately describe my emotions anymore
