  1. I'm pretending this thread doesn't exist.
  2. it's 2005 FAST without any of the Japanese VIN database files it seems. USDM cars only i'd say. Not worth grabbing unless you can merge your existing fast with it. The SETUP works with windows 2000 tho which is an improvement over the other FAST that is going around where some tweaks were needed.
  3. Tempe Tyres bra!
  4. Jerry have you listed your mods so far on the M-Spec? Nice time with the stock clutch. Mine is slipping at high rpm launches as well but i figured that was expected with 70k kms done on it. I'm heading to Japan (tommorrow) to load up two suitcases with stuff. Here's praying customs dont notice.
  5. Stock mate. I've not looked at many other 34's but I was under the impression they are running 1 bar from the factory +/- 0.1 for subtle changes due to mods/temperature/atmosphereic conditions...
  6. Got mine yesterday and had a quick play last night in the garage. The interface works and the software (Nissan DataScan) is awesome. The display mode is great im going to buy a second laptop to keep in the car now Couple of neat features i havent tried out yet tho like the 0-100 time trial test. Should be interesting.
  7. It's on newsgroups. The posts are currently 4days old. 325mb inc PAR2 files. I'm grabbing it now and i'll see what it's about.
  8. not much is great about them - theyre just plush carper cut to a particular size. They do have shiny big metal GTR badges on them tho
  9. RB26DETT at 8500rpm is sweeter than any V8 imo.
  10. God theyre expensive but the stock ones are awesome. Just cleaned mine on the weekend and polished the GTR badges up nice
  11. What are the standard colour ones worth? Much less or hardly any difference?
  12. Just so you know im flying out this Saturday... I'll post my Japan cell phone number if you need to make last minute requests! I'll keep my eye out for those dodgy Kirin machines - Asahi is better anyway. I'm also doing the Sapporo all you can drink factory tour this time
  13. I would say in general it's totally inaccurate for many of the second hand car prices. I think the trade in figures are probably slightly more accurate tho - in that a dealer is going to try and screw you for that price.
  14. Mine runs 1.12 (indicated by the MFD) at full noise. No problems so far. I usually tootle around tho and it doesnt go far over 1.03.
  15. ECU is running the injectors at 100% to protect from detonation? Typical turbo car stock ECU over protective nature. Could be wrong.
  16. Your parts look very well done. I'm keen to see your price list for fuel rails and cam gears to suit R34 GTR Skyline. As for ideas on what to produce for the Skylines, I think you are on the right track with these parts - im not sure billet tb's would sell that well for the RB26 application.
  17. Everything minus parts that is. So what like 25k all up?
  18. R34 MFD is cheaper and can do some cool things. Bit of a DIY job installing it though...
  19. I got mine done at Sydney Compliance center in Liverpool. Great guys - work was completed in 2 days.
  20. Damn shame . Condolences. I hope you can muster the strength for the next project, whatever it may be.
  21. Well i imported mine before import duty changed to 10% (was 15%) and when the aussie dollar was a bit weaker against the yen so it's not really relevant how much it cost to import. I can tell you tho that there are a few more issues when importing a car worth over $60k like extra stamp duty and Luxury car tax that many "import cost calculators" dont take into account, then there's compliance cost blowouts like stock parts, and brembo brake pads. It's not easy to have a good condition no accident damaged car landed and complied under $70k - then you gotta pay rego and stamp duty...
  22. Tried waxing them? No idea if thatd work
  23. I'd probably look around for GTt climate control unit at local Jap wreckers for now. See if you can pick up one cheaply. Otherwise rip the aircon out and go N1 style
