Can I ask what the seats cost to get retrimmed in leather? I am wanting to do that with mine in black leather.

Oh and you would KNOW if you had xenons. When you turn them on they dont glow very much for a few seconds until they warm up. I used to have them on the R34 before compliance. And the little knob that does the levelling changes the angle quite a lot. Very noticable if its all still working. Also they are supposed to engrave "H155W" on the top of the headlight to indicate the type of halogens the lights now use. If you have that you know what lights you got.

take a look at your headlights. There should be a white gear visible when you lift the bonnet. That is part of the levelling system. If there is still a shaft and a second gear connected to a motor then you still have the levelling parts. If not it's no huge deal you dont HAVE to have the levelling device working to run xenons. To revert back to xenons you need to find if you still have ballasts. I dont know exactly where they are yet - im still looking. You will need to find where in the wiring harness they cut the ballast out of the system and rewire it in. Plug globes in and you should be done. If the ballasts are gone then its not worth it. Buy a HID kit and install that instead.

I have never seen a 95 with the facelift. Doesn't mean there aren't any but i believe 1/96 was the beggining of the facelift. You can do the conversion yourself though and hence I have seen a couple of S1->S2 conversions. I have not seen importers refer to 95 models (or series 1.5's) as series 2's and I believe that would be false advertising as the most distinguishing feature of the series 2 is the facelift.

I like it. I think that style of body kit looks better on a VIP car like a celsior or even a ceffy though. Still I think it works well on yours.

I have noticed the fuel light comes on quite early on the R34 so it's probable that you are filling it up when there is still a load of fuel in the tank. Not to worry though that is a good thing because you NEVER want to run a tank dry and ingest the dregs that hang around in the last couple of litres. Just keep doing what you're doing, you seem to be going fine.

There is no way that body design will make it to market. I'm more interested in this e-4wd crap. And mismatched rim widths and tyre sizes on a 4WD vehicle? This is all pointing to strangeness. How much torque is really going to be coming from the front wheels in an e-4wd car with 480ps at the rears????

fulda are probably the worst tyres out there at 205 seems rather skinny. Get some Falken's of any type which are almost as cheap but better.

My car wasn't optioned with navigation - I doubt many GTRs were. The MFD is mostly in english but there are some options I had my girlfriend translate for me.

The reason is you're moving from one application (Vbulletin - the forum software) to another application (Photopost or whatever runs the new trading system). The two applications use the same database or at least have a copy each of the authentication tables but at the moment they don't tell each other if you're logged in. You have to login to each application seperately.

You can buy parkers from supercheap for $2 for 4. Or you can buy these white coloured halogen globes from Phillips at autobarn and they come with a free set of white coloured parker globes which are miles better than your average yellow coloured parker light.

fun stuff! As an aside Nissan tried to do some similar stuff with the R34 GTR and the built in LCD display has no RCA input or any easy way to plug your own video source into it unless you option it when you buy the car. They had at least 10 different Navi/TV options you could choose from the factory and/or dealer. Luckily nowdays there is a guide floating around on how to hook any NTSC video source up with a bit of soldering and I have done it on mine, installed a DVD headunit, and watched "The Usual Suspects" on the screen the other night. Works brilliant
