  1. Spinners from Tempe would look full sic on that. I can get 24s from my cuz bro.
  2. Who cares what some spam site thinks anyway?
  3. Hmm... when this happened on my old R33 gtst it was the ECU limiting/cutting boost. I dont know if R34 GT-T do the same thing. Might need an ECU upgrade.
  4. I didnt know we were racing til mal got his tail out around a bend. I dont want him bumping into me so i backed off Technically the ford wins!!!
  5. Bummer the photo didnt show your new wheels Nick....
  6. Back already.... That steak was so good! This place was miles better than last month. Thanks to everyone who came as it was a top night again and the GTR got to meet some of its fellow aussie skylines for the first time. I snapped a few photos but due to lack of any where to rest the camera this is the only one that turned out.
  7. FK451 are good for a cheap tyre. Tempe tyres does a good price on them but you can always talk them down. Artarmon performance tyres in artarmon have good prices and have always done me some good deals if you're northside.
  8. You're right - the N1 catback is same price as the PE2 and the N1 muffler comes out at an angle. I hate that look. RedBaron: Do autobarn have stock of these PE2? I wonder if they could get a catback in for an R34 GTR?
  9. I would take a new 6 series over the new 3 series as well. they look pretty phat.
  10. I went out to BEL one day and the guys there all look the part. I dont mean to sound racist but when every single person at the garage is speaking Japanese and there is RB engines in various states all over the workshop and a tricked out S15 in the front you feel like you're in the right place. Also those guys did Tony's RB25 buildup so he would probably know a bit more about the quality of their work.
  11. id take an E46 M3 too... i spose
  12. Wonder why Merli isn't coming ? I heard he wants to sell the GTR and buy a BMW... some 3 series piece of crap :bananaman
  13. Oh and the little stretch of road between the steak joint and the hotel is fun - just slow down before the fixed speed camera at the top of the hill.
  14. Well there is actually a hotel on the same street (Delhi Road) as the steak joint. It's pretty damn close in fact, it's also brand new and fairly fancy looking so the price might be up there somewhere. It's called "Somerset North Ryde"
  15. bummer... worst 3 series ever... bring back the E30.
  16. Plenty of S2 R33's go on these forums for 20 and even less with some rego. I would be going for one of those.
  17. If you're impatient, dont import. You will be waiting almost 3 months from purchase time until the car is on the road. And this is fairly optimistic.
  18. No that story is untrue. Im 95% sure. There are rumours flying around about SEVS importing and how people can get cars rejected for compliance and a lot of it is completely untrue. Accident damaged and repaired cars can still be complied depending on the condition of the car, the total damage, where the hit was and the quality of the repair. The compliance process isn't black and white, you don't rock up to the RAWS with a dented gaurd and then have your dream destroyed!!!! Just as you can remove modifications and put the car back to stock before compliance, you can repair the car to acceptable standards before compliance. This does not mean you can import wrecks and comply them - you cant. You also have no chance of complying cut and shut cars, rebirthed cars, cars that were damaged too much to be repaired to acceptable standards, rust buckets, etc. I was lucky to get a car that had never been in a single hit (or so it would seem from a detailed inspection) but yeah....
  19. Do you still need the measurment because I can go downstairs now and measure it.
  20. Ok so how many's that and have we made a booking ?
  21. I've used BD4's for my old Skyline and they were good mechanics and good service. The prices were around the $80 inc GST per hour for labour. Can people include some average labour costs for their chosen mechanics?
  22. What does the PowerExtreme II have over the Apexi N1? The N1 is selling for $549 at modyourcar.com (muffler only).
  23. It's not a roadworthy check - that's why. They want to make sure it's not a rebirth. The idea behind it is that cars over 10 years old are unlikely to be rebirths as there would be no money in doing so. Newer cars on the other hand.... That isnt the most sound logic ever but this is a government department we're dealing with so we must live with it - regardless of how many holes you can drive a semi-trailer thru it has. Cars under 10 years old automatically require pits inspection.
  24. Hey, is this car on the road yet? I think I saw it at the same place i got mine complied.
