  1. Has anyone got a spare small SAU nsw sticker for the new GTR they can bring to the meet - there's $5 in it for ya
  2. 1. Compliance 2. Rego - possible pit requirement - interim label - You pay for rego and stamp duty here. 3. Pit inspection 4. If successful you get full registration
  3. Who is the bloke in Melb? Is it $910 just cat back? Japan is living in the dark ages in regards to shipping costs!!!!
  4. The brakes are different and they stand out like dogs bollocks if you have any sort of aftermarket rims. The GTS ain't such a great buy when the turbo is so much better for just a tiny bit more.
  5. Shipping exhausts is about $400? Damn - I almost bid on a Nismo cat-back on Yahoo Japan auctions the other day but was unsure about the shipping costs.... At that price its worth ditching the cat back and just getting the brand name muffler and fabricating the piping over here. Plus you could get it done stainless over here with a better looking hotdog resonator and it would be a great system overall. Cheaper than shipping from Japan.
  6. Pits are checking for rebirthed cars. They want to make sure your VIN numbers match the body. It's just red-tape and it automatically comes up in the RTA's system when it does a first registration for a used car.
  7. White ... pass ....
  8. Car is on the road :D Interim label but same thing - Pits next Monday so - Looks like it wont make it to the trackday I saw that dirty-looking-but-fast GTR (with matching driver) on the way home I remember it from the last UAS track day so I waved and got a wave back. Nick and Carlo probably know what im talking about ... :Pimp:
  9. Do they have CF ones for an R34 GTR?
  10. I just drove my car home for the first time - well drove it to work but same thing. For people in NSW doing new registrations on imports you will probably (99.99% definate) find that you will have to visit the pits (Botany, Penrith or Silverwater RTA have pits). I got there and they said - sorry next pit appointment is in November. I was dissapointed and thought - here we go ANOTHER week without the car. There is a rule though that states - if the pit appointment is more than 5 days away from the day you're trying to rego the car the RTA MUST give you an Interim Label. This means you can drive the car around until your pit appointment. So on goes the interim label with some standard yellow plates and you can drive it
  11. but they have cool stickers on them !
  12. Yeah it works well to get rid of dust. That's about all really. When I used that I would get dust off then use quick detailer with a lint free cloth.
  13. As long as you are willing to settle on standard yellow plates ($32 plate fee) you can get them the same day over the counter at any RTA. If you want your own plates or special plates you have to wait until they are made - a few weeks. But you can just take yellow plates temporarily and do a "plate swap" when your new ones arrive. Theoretically it can happen all in one day.
  14. where are you getting one from or are you thinking of fabricating one? I wouldn't mind fitting one to mine as well.
  15. Thanks ben... I wonder if they sell them in stores now because Danoz want $249 for one and im certain they arent worth that much still.
  16. Hey Jerry, Zoran did good work. The compliance guys were really great actually and took only 2 days to do all the work. Simon was really helpful thru the whole process so yeah, thanks again to you for pointing me their way. The compliance plate is in the mail from Canberra it was due to arrive today but looks like Australia Post dropped the ball and it wont be there till Monday - another weekend without the car!! It's all good though. Do you detail/clean a few engine bays/cars? Im looking at getting the GTR detailed soon too.
  17. So annoyed - compliance plate didnt turn up at compliance place today so I will have to wait ANOTHER weekend for the car! Would've been nice to rock up to a wedding i have to attend this weekend in it. Weekends are the worst - 2 days where you cant get anything done and you dont have work to distract you.
  18. sewid

    GT-R Key

Justjap have em. You should get the R34GTR key
  19. Hrmmm very interested to know. I would call around a few local compliance places because they have to remove the Xenon bulbs when they comply R34s and might have a few spares laying around cheap.
  20. What about those dodgy infomercial steam cleaner units? Actually I doubt they work.
  21. it will be a totally new car with new shocks. you will wish you had done it sooner.
  22. yeah - 100k service is another 1 - 1.5k on top of the purchase price if it's not done already.
  23. im gonna order M-Spec badges for mine haha
  24. voted NUR but think N1GTR would be better
