  1. How long did the clutch take to get back to you Lucien? Im doing this (maybe) as well but concerned about leaving the car sitting around a workshop for weeks until the clutch gets back...
  2. Nice. I'll just buy both of them but that MGS4 looks the goods.
  3. I'm happy for BD4's that they got a new dyno/room but what a waste of their time. Building an entire new room to house a 2wd dyno when their target market really is heavily populated by 4WD cars seems a bit stupid. I'm just whinging because i still dont know where a decent local 4WD dyno is
  4. That project is amazing - the amount of work is mind blowing.
  5. Just as another interesting bit of trivia; Nismo clutches are also made by Excedy.
  6. They are sold and now live on my car:
  7. I would do both of those and then more. They are both such entry level certs that they are not really going to help get you anywhere except onto the next cert in line. The CCNA test is about an afternoon worth of study for anyone who has ever used a router before and knows basic math. Try and get someone else to pay for them and do all the certs you can.....
  8. Calsonic make the ordinary radiators for the Skylines. I doubt you have two radiators.
  9. $1000 plus duty plus gst plus freight retail price.
  10. You would need to wire them into the ECU wiring harness. They should probably just work after that.
  11. The V-Spec suspension really isn't too bad daily driving. I in the past have daily driven my V-Spec and its nowhere near as bad as your average import with aftermarket full sick suspension. Here are the pros and cons of having an R34 GTR daily driver: Pros - Less kids trying to race your car - I don't know why but I just wasn't getting it as much as when I drove the GTSt - Awesome power whenever you want it - Grip everywhere, in the rain its especially great - You get looks everywhere you go - I dont seem to get any attention from cops ? - Brakes are amazing - I dont seem to go through tyres at anywhere near the rate i did in my RWD car - Price of parts is falling every day, loads of R32 GTRs around make the price of parts that just bolt onto any RB26 fall - It's a piece of motoring history ! Cons - You cant park it just anywhere - You cant see out the back at night due to the spoiler and the stock tint - It drinks a lot of fuel - Your girlfriend will be jelous of the time you spend with the car - No factory warranty - You wont be able to stop modifying it
  12. The GTR is the base model while the GTR and V-Spec were being made most cars came out of the factory as V-Specs. V-Spec has added fruit such as: - Carbon fibre rear underbody tray - Intercooler intake temp sensor - Exhaust temp sensor - Upgraded MFD to show data for these two extra sensors - Slightly different tacho (cant remember how exactly) - Active rear diff (maybe on all R34 GTRs?) - Faster ATTESSA computer (maybe on all R34 GTRs?) The V-Spec II has all of the above plus: - Carbon fibre bonnet - Different rear brakes (very slightly different apparently) - Black cloth seats (as opposed to grey in the earlier models) - Aluminium pedal set - Aluminium map pocket - Aluminium faced CD player - Firmer suspension (probably not 100% on this) - Different radiator (plastic topped) - Larger rear Nissan badge - Updated MFD with extra functions such as a lap counter and possible data logging? - Different front bar? - Probably more The M-Spec is basically a V-Spec II except for the following: - Aluminium bonnet (same as V-Spec) with carbon bonnet option - Different paint options - Improved ride quality due to softer suspension - Black Leather seats, hand stitched, heated - a few other things that wrxhoon could probably add - I've compared my V-Spec to his M-Spec before but im sure im missing some bits The Nur cars are different again. The Z-Tune is nothing really to do with R34 GTR models.
  13. Seems likely to be wrong. They retail about $1300.
  14. What did the 265/35R18's cost per tyre if you dont mind?
  15. I believe Powerplay can get the whole lot in. Ask Tosh (SW20-GT)...
  16. Do luck cars use do luck wheels! They are quite pricey
  17. I have a set of those wrap around ones in fibreglass if you want. Same as that ebay guy. They don't look so great on the car though if you ask me and I would prefer some factory eyelids or at least copies of the factory ones.
  18. The 350z is absolutely no competition to the GTR sorry. Potential maybe but not more than the GTR. And auto ? You have to be joking.
  19. I was thinking Falken for the $$$ factor - unless I can sell the Bridgestones and then i might get something a bit pricier. Let me know if you have any deals going for 275/35R18 tyres or advice on a street/occasional track day tyre. I could always stick these RE01's on my stock rims as they are good fit for the std 18x9 wheels and then use those for track wheels as the RE01 are pretty grippy.
  20. As a follow up to this. I have just installed my Bridgestone RE01 245/50R18 tyres onto my Nismo LMGT3 18x10JJ wheels and my advice to anyone planning something similar is to not bother. The tyres are significantly stretched to the point where im going to replace them ASAP with some 275 or wider tyres. Sure they physically are able to go onto the rim and hold air but they: 1) do not look good - 4 x stretched tyres on a GTR is a bad look (except for the old school GTRs) 2) will not perform 100% im sure i'll discover more problems after theyre actually on the car, in fact i might not even bother fitting them. As a side note i now have almost brand new 245/40R18 Bridgestone RE01 tyres for sale x 4! PM me!!!
  21. Are the Bee-R wheels cast as well?
  22. Everyone wants round bits in their tail lights these days it seems...
  23. I actually like the front end on the 06 subaru. It's now a shame that the rear end is looking so tired.
  24. Insane metalworking. Pathetic car to be wasting their time with.
  25. The car only weighs 1000kg so 1000hp is plenty. The owner is well aware that he could push for more hp but it would just be undriveable.
