It has two turbine engines though. 13,000 lbs of thrust per engine. goes straight up if i incline the adjustable wing a certain way.

The original post looks like a shinkansen ticket to me, sold from a shinkansen ticket reseller and not a green window. I could be wrong as I didnt read the kanji.

Nismo Coppermix twin plate is around $2k from nengun. Will take that much power and drives like a stock car. There are at least two GTRs I know of running this clutch on here and they both say its fantastic. Other than that - Jim Berry in QLD would be able to build you a clutch to suit your application. Search the forums for his name. -
R33 Gtst With An Rb26dett - What Is It Worth?
sewid replied to lazza's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Must have cost a packet to get BD4s to do that much work. But it doesnt mean you will see it all back at resale, it's only worth what people are willing to pay which might only be $25k like the guys said. -
I'll sell you my R34 GTR for $120k. PM me.

You can get wheelnuts to fit at autobarn or similar. They cost about $25 for 4 tho so its expensive. You will usually need to order in enough sets for your car too as they keep limited stock of this. Rays wheelnuts like posted above will not fit in those wheels. You'll need the inverted head type.

Yeah its almost gotta be the AFM. Try this; unplug your AFM completely, your car should do the same thing (wont rev past 2500) all the time now. Get a new AFM and see if that fixes it.

The impuls type R rims are rare. The problem is they are spoiled by the massive number of cars running around on fake 2 piece impul copies.

Another One Of Thos What Car Should I Get
sewid replied to liner32's topic in General Automotive Discussion
The GT-X is always a questionable choice when it comes to your non-turbo R34 Skyline. You have to wonder why Nissan decided to make a 4x4 non-turo car and where the car was marketed. The answer is they made it for the cold snowy climate areas of northern japan. In Hokkaido every single car on the road is 4x4 for the winter - even the corolla, march and sunnys. Snowy climates are horrible for cars and they will begin to rust away from salted roads in no time. You will of course see exceptions to this and Nissan sometimes sell 4x4 Skylines outside of snowy climates. In my travels in Japan i've never seen a GT-X outside of a snowy area. -
Well the KM's are highly suspect so dont let the dealer use that as a bargaining point. All imports of this nature have had their speedos wound back - this is a fact of life.

I Don't Know What These Are..
sewid replied to Silver_R34_GT-T's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yeah theyre for flares. Compliance shops remove them. I took mine out myself before taking the car to compliance so I could put it back in there -
None of these are complied or registered. It would take a few more $$$'s before you could drive them.

I have purchased from Yahoo auctions from Zac @ Slidewise a couple of times. Before him I used Rinkya. Zac is better for large items as he can organise to ship your item in his container. For small items theyre about the same cost wise.

I have the same sleeping problems with my stock turbos. Cheap insurance would be a set of garrett turbos but i'm not going to be happy with those. So HKS turbos it is at $4k + $1.3k dump pipes + injectors + fuel pump + ECU + other bits and pieces. It doesnt stop!

Just call up any insurance company that will offer you insurance for the car at all. Don't say anything about the dents. As long as the car is roadworthy they arent really a problem. Tell them you want to sign up insurance but to send you the bill. The cover will begin immediately and will last for about 2 weeks unpaid (called a cover note) so you can begin driving the car and the insurance company will cover you. When they send you the bill dont pay it - or ring them up and tell them you decided with a cheaper company. Once the car is fixed of dents in that two weeks then you can ring up Just Cars and take their insurance out. This works as long as you dont try and get dodgy about it and keep getting cover notes instead of paying for insurance. I will not drive a car uninsured myself either but have done this cover note thing a few times when i get new cars. Make sure you write down the policy number they give you over the phone.

ATTESSA sends power to the front before wheel spin occurs. It's a pro-active setup rather than re-active. It's going to be sending power to the fronts for sure under the kind of acceleration you'll be experiencing at the drag strip. -
It is not possible to use 99% of japanese GPS systems in Australia. They just do not make software for them. None of the big map software manufacturers for the Japan market make equivilent software that will run on the same hardware over here. There is 0% chance you'll get the standard Jap Nissan GPS hardware to work over here. If you buy say a Navman or something in Japan you might be able to make it work, but i think you'd struggle to find something as primitive as a navman in Japan. As for the TV itself the only thing you'll get working on it is maybe some line in composite source. I have done this in my GTR stock MFD. To get your dash TV to play digital free to air TV you're going to need a digital set top box ($150 - $300) and a power convertor to run it on 12volts ($80 - $200) and modify the TV to take composite in signal if required ($$$????). You will also need to run an antenna somewhere, possible that the car already has one though. Then you need to find a place to store all this junk in the car. Set top boxes arent exactly small and those power convertors get pretty hot. Good luck though.

I did a pretty big service on my GTR when I first got it at UAS and they do good work. He recommended all the good oils and parts and obviously the guys in the workshop have taken tools to many a Skyline in their time. They are priced at the higher end of the list of workshops though. There are other workshops you can go where they are still knowledgable about turbo skylines but at the same time perhaps a bit cheaper for your general service needs. Then again you can do a lot of the servicing work yourself as well if you have some basic tools and know what to buy.

Of course if it's an older powerFC the battery backup might be flat and you will lose it everytime you unplug it. I had one in which this happened.

I just want a reliable car for weekend track days and occasional long drives on nice country roads. At the same time I want it to be an aggressive looking eye catching baby eating monster.

On second thought by the looks of your posts it took bugger all time to complete and stick in. I guess now i speak to Jim and find a decent workshop.
