  1. Does that mean your turbo sits in the same place hence you dump pipe did not need to be changed at all ?? Is it a straught bolt on replacement ? Cheers,
  2. This may be a stupid question - but I like asking stupid questions .... Is there an aftermarket replacement for the std exhaust manifild ? I understand they are cast and restrictive - But for those of us who spend $$ on hi-flow turbos - can we get a better manifold, then ceramic coat it ?? Cheers
  3. Has anyone ceramic coated the standard manifold ? Mine is pretty rusty and would require a bit of work to get it nice I guess - But I like the idea - Then ceramic coat the dump plus thermal wrap it !
  4. How much Andrew ?
  5. Tony, a few hundred - I got them all and can burn
  6. $6.00 for a can of carby cleaner at Auto-one
  7. 18 PSI is too much boost - you will either break your turbos or break your engine.... I hope it will be your turbos cause it will be cheaper to repair . I like Duncan's recomendation.
  8. SOunds interesting ! I'll check it out !
  9. Nice work Mull ! Well done..
  10. Yup - that's what I was told !
  11. Joel - 56mm inside diameter.. (oh and it's a RB25DET). Not sure about turning the engine over ATM- not much oil left in it. I spose it's rooted anyway..... Dino - thanks Smartarse :shake: Pete - I've done the bodgyist bog job on the Corolla. Rego in 2 weeks dude - What are we gonna do ? You gonna send me the papers or do I just dump it somehwere ? BTW, headlights permantantly on high beam after I tried to fix them, forgot to connect the horn back up so it doesn't work, steering wheel on upside down, tyres won't get thu rego - Anyone got a shotgun and I'll put it out of it's misery ! I think I'll sell it for $50 before rego expires - caviat that the new owner has to get the rego papers from Fatz. :shake:
  12. Good question Mark - I'm buggered if I know !!! BTW - I got the intake manifold off - what a job !!!! Ahhh ! I've been having a look at how to take the head off - Looks like you have to take the cam pulleys off, (which you prolly need a puller to do) Then looks like you have to take both cams out , then undo the allen bolts under the cams - Hmmmm - might leave this job to the professionals..... cya
  13. It's meant to be a Stage 2, GCG 500 HP Hi Flow jobbie. Performance core, and steel turbine instead of ceramic. I can tell it does have a steel turbine, but FIIK if the core is performance and it's actually a Stage 2 500HP unit ? I'm sort of hoping Sydneykid et al will be able to identify it for me. I was getting 240rwkw before the bang.... Oh and BTW - no such think as a stupid question - I ask them all the time
  14. Left to Right (flow from left to right) ?? I, S, G ?? Thanks heaps
  15. Anyone know the pinouts on the Q45 ?? There are three wires.. I was looking at where my old AFM used to be on the R33 GTS-t and I can only see a 2 wire connection for the orgininal AFM . Is that right ? I have no recollection of how the original AFM wiring was (as I am currently running EMS Stinger with no AFM - now I am changing to Power FC and Q45) ALSO, What Pod/Filter will attach to the Q45 AFM without drilling holes and modifying the shit out of a RB25 Pod ???? Thanks,
  16. I tried taking my Hi-Flow injectors out - no way were they coming - Fark that - I'll let the dudes who put the new proper injectors in do that ! Steve, did you go 550's ??? Cheers,
  17. Can anyone identify this label ? ie what does it mean ? Time for another beer !! You guys don't know how much fun and free beer you are missing out on !!! Stay tuned for more adventures next week - when I try to remove the damn intake manifold off the head - I'm porolly doing this the long and hard way - as I've not pulled any bit's off a RB25 before - Anyone got any tips ???? Cheers,
  18. Well, this weekend I pulled the turbo off - thanks to Jim and a few squirts of WD-40 - And some patience. I didn't even break anything.... amazing. The turbo seems to be is good nick - no shaft movement - no bent or damaged turbine fins. So I'm happy about that. Here's some pics:
  19. Here's a pic of Mark's 34 - nice ride ! Pic is a tad smallish, but you can still see how sweet a Red 34 looks !!!
  20. I'll put my hand up for photo's of the Bremblo's if BNR32 decides not to purchase.
  21. No pic Mark ?
  22. I was told by my local guy that you caqn leave them in the rail to be cleaned , tested, flowed. Apparantly they have mobile injector dudes that come around and do everything on the spot.
