  1. Beer is my friend !
  2. Doc, just go down to Bunnings and get some 'no more gaps' - works a treat !
  3. Ando - I got NFI where Oran is. Prolly no point following me, I'd say I'll be getting lost a couple of time. But your welcome to get lost with me. I'm leaving the NBs about 9ish maybe a bit later.
  4. Nick, I'll see you this arvo - I'm coming into UAS to see John.
  5. You know you are welcome to join in Merli, but I think you might be too much man for SW20-GT & I ! 45 Memebers and going strong - nice
  6. I have a mate who wants to come have a look, he has two sons (5 & 10 YO or something like that). IS it OK to bring kids ? I'd imagine it would be OK behind the fence but not in the pits.. I haven't been to Oran for ages so I can't recall what it's like there.

    Another happy SAU'er. Excellent !
  8. 1) Unless Geoff's rules have changed, You are not buying from Prestige Motorsport. Geoff is a broker you buy through him. Geoff facilitates the purchase. You are probablly buying from a Auction House or Dealer in Japan. 2) When I bought my car through Geoff, it was all good - everything worked out as expected 3) It would serve no purpose to Geoff to facilitate selling you a dud, he usually checks things pretty well. 4) SEVS rules have changed so what I am saying could all be crap because most of the cars being imported now are using the 15 year ols rule. 5) Do a search on the SAU - on "Prestige Motorsport" you find a lot of information. 6) Beware of 15 year old imports - some are really good , some are really crap - I have no experience of 15 year old imports thru Prestige. 7) Geoff is a top bloke and does his best. If the car you decide on is not up to scratch because of something Goeff didn't know about, that's not his fault or problem 8) Most of the time importing is all good. 9) You must accept some risk for the good price you can cars imported from Japan 10) Sometimes accepting risk pays off... big time. 11) I would import using Geoff again if I was after a car that was on his list. Hope that helps.
  9. I think the Quicktrack is Spread Spectrum radio , not Satelite - I also think they are upgrading their network. I reckon a triple plate clutch is good security - no phucker will be able to drive it !
  10. Prank - she said "Your on" - Just remember - she hammered her VL. Nah - looks like she's backed out of the Skyline - "Too much of a target car" for her - (A bit stung after the VL got pinched) I'm now tryng to convince her to get Megala's White Gloria - bling bling... (I might even buy it for myself, he he) Any other suggestions for a Unique Import to suit the old girl ? Must be auto - 2 door OK. What about a Soarer ?
  11. Hey Ben, I'm glad you are enjoying the track days so much ! When are you gonna take me around as a passanger ??? Sorry , I won't be able to give you any tips.....
  12. GTS-t VSPEC , did the GReddy Plennum come with everything required ? Did you use the factory throttle body ? I have and XF Throttle Body - will that fit the GReddy do you think ? or will I require an adaptor ? How did the throttle cable go ? Did you need to replace or does the factory one work ? Can you use top feed injectors ? Are there any gotcha's with these or pretty straight forward ? Thanks dude
  13. GT 3040 600hp Ball Bearing Turbo (.82 exh and .70 comp) TIAL SPORTS 38mm External Wastegate Soz for OT - should be talking clutches........ Anyone here try and drive a triple plate ?? OMFG !
  14. Steve - how much we talking ? I'm looking for a 2nd car. PM me if you want.
  15. Steve, I'm gonna do this with my 3.0L conversion...... Should be boosting at 3000-3500 !!! Hey Ben - Welcome to SAU - luv your work !
  16. Fatz has a second hand Nizmo twin plate that requires rebuild for sale in the parts & accessories section - $300 I might buy it.
  17. I don't know why - but I think I like gold wheel on a silver car.... It's a bit different I spose...... I think I'll have to go search some other colours as a comparison. Maybe Black or White ..... I dunno - It's hard to choose wheels hey ?
  18. A single plate clutch that can handle 250 rwkw will be grippy as hell - therefore you will shudder every single time you take off in first, even worse when you are taking off on a hill. I know this because I have one. Next clutch I get will be twin plate.
  19. If she does buy it - I'll encourage her to sign up for a SAU NSW Membership - For group discounts etc - I wonder if those places take seniors cards ??? He he !
  20. Hey Rezz, Thanks for the pics - I know lots of people think gold wheels look crap - that's why you can't buy them easily new these days. I just had the idea - and I didn't know what it would look like. So thanks for the Pics As for my opinion - the jury is still out ! Cheers,
  21. I am about ----> <----- this close to convincing my 60 year old Mum to buy this car - Cause her VL Turbo was stolen recently. How funny - It's a nice car for her - 4 door, auto ...... I hope she buys it - cause then I can take it to the track , whilst mine is being fixed ! ha ha he he !
  22. I found this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...=&postid=134604 and I know it's not an R33 but it looks OK... ???
  23. Does anyone out there have pics of a Silver R33 with gold wheels on it ? I've been wondering if this would look good or gay ? Anyway - if you have some , please post. Cheers,
  24. Cam, is that who I think it is in your avatar ? If so , I want the original image.
