Check out this restricted SR20. Stil makes ~200rwkw so it's not like they are gutless. I had pretty much come to the conclusion that the australian stig was just one of the 2 presenters with racing experience. They surely don't have the budget to employ another whole person for something they are both capable of.

Some wheels have recesses in them on the mounting face so may not be a problem

Anybody know if the public can ever get on the big outdoor cart track in Port Melbourne beside the westgate bridge? I know they have proper race meets there etc but I thought they might do some days for the public?

Seems like a fairly unreliable way of doing it when I assume you have the car sitting in your driveway. Why can't you just look for yourself, if there's something you don't recognise take a pic and ask what it is.
