  1. Gee thats being a little harsh isnt it ? Why call him a wanker for ? He did say it was for a dedicated drag car-So I am assuming it will never be street driven.I guess it would make working on the car a LOT easier.Shorter piping as well. I would be making up some kind of fibreglass RAM air intake feeding directly into it....
  2. Out of all the cars I was most impressed with yours in the Drag events. Some of the cars that you were lined up with had Monster Rear ends with huge rubber.Yet you were able to spank em.....Very impressive
  3. I would think that whilst on the continous move the gains would be minimal. But add stop start traffic into the equation and it may help reduce heat soak into the piping. I would be interested to know if this mod helps spool up in a stop start situation
  4. Am I the only one who thought this years turn out was a bit of a disappointment compared to last year ? Or was it only because I couldnt make it on Saturday and had to settle for today?
  5. Great looking car however. Good to see they finally did a modern version of the famous 300SL.
  6. +1.....This happens a lot lately. Sometimes I am not able to log in at all
  7. Yeah the cheapest I found was NRMA....Absolute joke what we are paying for greenslips these days. They can charge whatever they want and nobody says boo to them.Yet I dont know of a single person who has ever made a greenslip claim...I am sure these companies are making a very handsome profit
  8. Nice looking bit of gear.....Who is it made by ?
  9. Fantastic idea....! Now if only somebody out there would offer something similar teaching to all of us of Lousy - average mechanical skill on how to Build and blueprint an engine .
  10. +1 on the Ban for Clubs trading 24hrs and drinking age raised to 21
  11. Absolutely Brilliant...!! I want one for my Corolla- Shift at 7500 rpm would be heaven
  12. Theres also a regular I always see in the inner city areas, Green SS with a Green Chev sticker in flames pasted on the Back windscreen...Not to mention the few Typhoons getting around the city as well.
  13. I am guessing Clutch master cylinder is either on its way out, contaminated full of gunk or possible low ....
  14. A lot of the time its the Tight Ass servo owner who runs his tanks way too low.this picks up all the shit from the bottom. Even more so when he finally refuels as it mixes it all up
  15. I have never used chalk before so you may be the guy to ask about it..Will it prevent callouses from forming ? My problem is that the callous rolls into a ball in between the bar and my hands and hurts like Fk..Thats why I use straps for Deadlifts..I am interested in trying the chalk out if it will help
  16. Well nothing against this kid but he is pretty pissed about the P plate laws banning him from driving a high performance Turbo car...And to Rebel he goes and drives one anyway....Well look what happened, By crashing your car You just demonstrated WHY this law has come into place.
  17. Is the creaking noise coming from inside the car ( Or seems like it is ?) As I had a similar experience with an R32..Turned out the pedal box broke a spot weld and eventually pedal fell to the floor...Lie on the floor with your head facing up under the dash and work the clutch pedal if you can , make sure you have a decent torch so you can see what is going on....If thats the problem its an easy fix-cheap too...I also had to put in a new clutch master cylinder as well...Whether or not this caused the initial problem I dont know, But it was cheap and easy to do as well
  18. How soon until you have the rear end Tubbed and a DEIST drag chute fitted ?
  19. Tried clutch starting it ? It may still have enough power to fire the injectors....Maybe give the starter solenoid a slight tap.It could be that also...
  20. What sort of reps do you aim for with Deadlifts ?
  21. +1...I am pretty sure I have read in this and other threads that you were Pakistani...What I am seeing is not all what I was imagining you to look like ( Not that its a Bad thing )
  22. hmm....Dont know about that. I have had a VL and also a VK as well as 2 VN's...I still think the VN's are more dangerous. VN's seem to have a higher level of grip and then they just totally let go of the road and spin out. VL's and VK's seem to have a lower traction threshold but seem to have a lower centre of gravity and are more progressive when they do let loose....my 2c
  23. My mistake....But I think you understand what I was TRYING to say
  24. Isnt there a Gain setting which opens the wastegate progressively early ? Sure that isnt set too high ?
