  1. cant use 25 injectors. nistune and gtr injectors would be the do. that turbo will probably be pretty shit tho
  2. yes it'll run whatever the spring pressure is (assuming eveything else is working fine). dont worry about the open hole, it wont leak is its on the opposite side of the diaphram to the boost source

  4. you only use the top fitting when using a boost controller. if your not using one then plump a boost line into the side fitting and leave the top port open
  5. 402.3070hp if you wanna get real technical. essentially 300kw is 400hp

  7. yes it has knock maps for both fuel and timing, something else to look at
  8. andrew seams to ignore light load tuning and only do full load tunes when hes busy. if he didnt spend much time on it then i dare say you have a rich light load map with no where near enough timing. i'm in perth and have nistune software if you want me to take a look at it for you?
  9. plumb it back. if your really worried chuck it on the dyno after and make sure afr's are safe. aslong as it wasnt leaking tho it wont change anything other than the massive overfuelling you'd currently get when backing off
  10. mtq can get a spacer for you. i bought a blank off them and drilled the holes for studs myself. keep in mind you'll need longer studs for this aswell as 2 t3 gaskets etc
  11. depends if it was leaking when tuned?
  12. rotate the exhaust housing so that the oil feed sits at the top when the turbo is bolted to the manifold then rotate the comp housing to suit your cooler piping
  13. 30s can be found cheap, just gonna hunt around. i ended up buying a complete s3 31 and selling a few bits off it, made money from it and got a good motor for free. if you can do all the work yourself (apart from head welding and machining) and do your research it wont cost more than a few hundred for the actual motor

  15. guy i work with has a bare block. unsure of condition etc but can get him to check
  16. whether it has a crank collar or not will make a difference. if it doesnt then keep the limiter at 7500 and try to make sure you dont hit it
  17. just getting myne going atm, planning to rev it to 7-7.5 depending on where it stops making power and gonna be running 20+psi boost. but if you wanna be real safe keep it to 7k rpm and 17-18psi

  20. pull the top timing cover off and make sure all the marks line up
  21. my old 30e wagon popped flames all the time with a cat. got a decat now (was in the car when i got it you whiney tree huggers) and its never once popped a flame, even when i had a stock ecu running super rich

  24. thats what i did, T'd it into the turbo return, its not ideal but it works. its more a breather than a return
