  1. every cars different. try it and see
  2. afr's are good. at the point where you make peak power your only running 13psi boost which simply isnt enough with a gt-rs
  3. yes they can. but you usually need more than 1 witness. mate of myne lost his license for 8 months because 4 people (all mates in the same car) signed stat decs saying he was driving dangerously etc. altho he has a bad driving history which didnt help... OP, were you in the left or right lane when you were blocking him?
  4. more boost. it wont make more power than a standard turbo at that boost level. 20psi and tune then see what it makes
  5. not as restrictive as a 3082 with a .87 rear. i agree .63s are usually too restrictive to make full use of the compressors flow capabilities but with a gt35 rear you should see over 300rwkw with the .63
  6. http://www.lewisengines.com.au/prod251.htm
  7. i hardly think theres any problems with lack of fuel flow looking at the graph....
  8. just the standard ecu doing what it does. nistune would be the best option
  9. hundy dollar cheapo gasket? you do realise you can get a genuine nissan 26 gasket for around $50 off the net?
  10. i highly doubt you'll reach 300rwkw with a gt-rs, 260-280kw TOPS. it'll need a lot of boost to get there tho, 20psi+. at 10psi it wont make much more than a standard turbo at 10psi
  11. fake for sure. i've had people gesture and shit like that a few times, they're always just douchebags trying to take the law into their own hands. technically you were in the wrong as far as the phone goes, your not allowed to use your phone with your hands whilst driving but its not an arrestable offence.... i've just been through reporting a "hoon" through the police, it took a few months but in the end they simply phoned the guy and told him to pull his head in. they police were actually very helpful.
  12. 2530 sounds perfect then. the 25 will be much nicer down low than the 20, you'll never want to touch a 20 again after driving it with a 25
  13. put the 2530 on it and see how it goes. it will give great responce which is what your after. yer sure it'll have f**k all top end and wont make huge power but thats not what your after by the sounds of it. if you dont like it then you can easily remove it and upgrade to something bigger. as for 6, leave the standard t/b on there with the standard plenum etc
  14. read in the motoring section of the paper over the last couple of weeks thats its actually illegal to sell ethanol fuels in WA atm because they dont pass some volatility test. all the other states have changed the laws to allow ethanol but good ol WA hasnt and isnt showing any signs of doing it. Caltex have also said they probably wont ship it over here because its too costly
  15. if his power fc is showing normal temps as it warms up then the sensor will be working fine. assuming your getting your temps from the hand controller? if you do have a h/c then check what the cold enrichment settings are
  16. its very possible. most standard 33s will be overall quicker with stockish boost
  17. no, you can change which cells are trimmed under constant throttle, not how much they're trimmed by. OP, he means rows 3-15 in the fuel map, nothing to do with the sensor screen. whilst on that screen tho, what does the o2 voltage show at idle? for it to be using that much extra fuel just from the tune he'd have to go through every cell and richen them all up and take out loads of timing under light load, which would just be silly but you never know...
  18. yes it should idle and run (although rough) upto 2000rpm
  19. .65 thou? that would certainly stop any blowby....
  20. its been done but dont expect 300rwkw from a standard manifold, more realistically 260-280rwkw. if you already have the setup then might aswell try it and see if you like it. if you get lines made up make sure they're a little longer than they need to be incase you decide to go a different manifold later on.
  21. IW or external? standard manifold or better? should be capable of somewhere around 250-300rwkw depending on other mods and fuel used etc also, does it have the anti surge comp cover? big comp size with such a small rear on it will likely surge. was a thread just the other day about it http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Co...on-t337560.html
  22. must have. your the one in the shiny green civic with custom interior, gay wheels and neons right?
  23. everyone has their different opinions. your workshop might think you've read something on the net and just because of that insist on 11.5. so they ignore you and go with what they think is best. i'll be doing a little experimenting with afr's and timing when i get my car going. mainly gonna try using a little extra fuel in cells that occasionally knock, but not enough to drop a full degree of timing
  24. 66.5% and .18 are the correct settings for nismo 555s check fuel pressure. i know you changed the reg but i had the same problem, tried 3 different regs which worked fine before i put them in my car, later discovered they were all dead after seeing my car. cracked the shits and bought a tomei reg and it fixed everything
