  1. could be tps playing up and giving you a moment of fuel cut
  2. also most bigger injectors have a higher latency than standard injectors, so at idle it can even out and run perfectly (fluke) but as soon as you put any load on the motor it'll be way too rich. as said, your plugs will be fouled
  3. stock ecu? how much boost are you running? most cars will jolt if you go smashing your foot on and off the throttle, wat do you mean exactly?
  4. not if you still have the exhaust side plumbed up
  5. share it round, i'll try some
  6. i bought a 91 holden nova (corrolla) for $1000, had it for a few years then sold it for a $1000. most reliable car i've ever owned, cant go wrong with toyota
  7. and yes there is most certainly supposed to be oil coming out of the return when the engine is running
  8. no its venting all the time through the catch can and intake pipe. the only time the intake pipe isnt sucking air is when the engine is off
  9. wow thats a good effort from a 20. brockas not going flat out?
  10. this stop trying to smash reverse while your still moving, unless your doing motorkhana or something theres really no need clutch up in neutral noise is usually input shaft bearing clutch in scraping noise is usually thrust bearing
  11. would drop compression down to around 7.8 at a guess. way too low imo
  12. if it still has a box and starter on it then yer just hook up a battery to the starter
  13. he was joking mate, relax
  14. which bolt heads are too high? should all be interchangable
  15. exhaust leak before the wideband?
  16. yer that wouldnt help white engine bay with lots of black decoration (grime n shit) makes it easier not to care
  17. makes more sense. also makes sense to go a bit leaner with ethanol, theres still a lot more of it going in and its not like you get any knock issues with it
  18. what issues? sure the tunnell cops a bit of a beating but it comes out the top easily enough
  19. 339rwkw? surely thats a typo?
  20. pull timing cover off and line the marks up, if they dont line up then its out, simple. 200rwkw is possible with some cars but not all will make that power, even on a hub dyno. 170 is a little below average but still fairly normal for the mods
  21. no. set it to 15 on the crank as normal. if it was set normal before it'll be 4 degrees out now, which is why it needs to be reset
  22. how much too high? tried re drilling the mounts to make it sit lower?
  23. yes you need to reset ignition timing
  24. did that with my standard 25 to get a little more boost. worked well for a free mod, looks a bit bogan tho
