I was under the impression you used nitrous to help efficiency of the motor at the drag strip, bringing on boost quicker and cooling the intake charge as when your stationary; there is less air moving through the radiator/intercooler etc. sounds very accurate to me, id have no issue running a 50hp shot if i ever got into drag racing lolz, nitrous has other uses too. Ever seen shooter with mark wahlberg..... if anyones curious, be careful it causes acute dementia.

Sounds better as my car does run a bit rich for safety as im sure most guys who have their car tuned. Im gonna recommend asus as they are expanding now with a new sattelite into space which will allow for multimedia streaming anywhere in the world. Asus seems to have the best cooling also, as laptops are cramped they tend to overheat and slowdown/shutdown abruptly e.g older toshiba models. always buy an extended warranty on it, anywhere from 150-250 depending on laptop if you want it for gaming, make sure there is a good graphic card in it and plenty of ram; grab an upgrade if you can JB seems to have good deals n good warranty support so pop down there n make sure u bargain. -Johnny

Hey man, im thinking about one of these cats; i knwo yours is performing well but have you heard any horror stories with their half-life? collapsing after a hard drive or a few thousand kms etc I know that i will never be on a track or driving hard, any advice for me man or anyone else wanna chime in? also if you dont mind me asking, how much would one set you back? -Johnny

Im really glad to hear the car performs as you wanted it to and was worth the money; most people feel guilty after buying things. Impressive numbers but i assume they test with great drivers and dump that clutch hard on redline; not the way we would treat our cars....well at least i wouldnt. I know the r34 gtr's new turbines produce better low end torque to help with the launch resulting in the better time.

Seems like you had some bad experiences with stealerships; dont worry i have too. BMW is bad but at least they give me a nice loan car to play with for the day! worst by far is landrover, quote you one price on the phone and hand you a bill for alot more for things that 'you' know cost 90%less. So far hyundai has been the best to me..........ironic yeah for a 16k getz; need to keep the 5 year warranty. I do my r34 gtr minor servicing myself, rest i take to reputable tuners. V8's have been using nitrous for a long time now, since the average big block nazi dosent know anything about science and they are attracted to their relatives they wouldnt know that nitrous is a form of forced induction....fake power???

You didnt have it dyno tuned did you? he simply did a service and took the car for a thrash right; a clutch dump and full throttle 1st 2nd gear is enough to spike boost to 1.20bar and probably blow the turbos. from this thread i now know to set the rev limit on the power fc to 3000rpm before i leave it with anyone. Try n get him to pay for the damages; obvioulsy with another mechanic otherwise plan your actions carefully.

Just quick, i got tested a little while ago n got 87db with a fujisubo exhaust 3.5inch on my r34 gtr. Its a great exhaust and i was really surprised with the noise so definitely worth a look at for an off-the-shelf item which is legal.

I had an offer (serious one) for my 02 vs2 of 69k about 9 months ago; no bs here. YOU dont own one so you want to think they are overpriced...just like mxfly said. depreciation will occur over time but there is a threshold, you can have a 99 r34 (non-vspec/vs2) for 40k im sure Personally im not too worried about depreciation cos i plan to keep mine for many years. lahtazzz cheapskate
