  1. +1, disconnect your headlight n the indicators on the other will flash fast; had this problem before when i removed the right headlight on my s15 for a drag race n the left indicators flashed twice as fast. check em first to see if its the problem.
  2. Is it just me or would every1 like to see sydney kid post this info up on the mazda rx3/4/5/67 forum or whatever lolz. He just came in and took the whole 1.3 litre thing and tore it to shreds; no wonder people compare the rotors sound to 2-stroke = cos it is a 2-stroke. may i ask, are rotory engines light? how much do they weigh?; compared to an rb or sr20 etc.

Rotors only suck when they have a turbo and are on boost lolz i like rotors, i mean most people who buy them are weekend cars so they do little kms per year; rebuild every 20,000-30,000rpm highly tuned aint too bad so would be about 5+ years for someone like me. ive drive a 12a turbo with 180kw atw and it was impressive, can only imagine a 13b with a t04z, they produce heaps of gas flow to spool up big turbines so torque is quickly made with FI. they do burn lots of fuel cos of their design but thats what makes them able to flow alot of air to produce power and exhaust gas for lower turbo lag; they also burn oil...but so what lolz id buy an rx7 series 7 or 8 without regret
  4. Using motul 8100xcess at 500-1000km intervals or every 3-4month - change the oil filter every second oil change (knn oil filter with the nut at the top for easy install and removal FTW)
  5. hey man, i jst saw your post n thought id make a joke; wasnt trying to insult ya. Jst thought u talking about burnouts all day on the stock SMIC, then i saw the avatar so yeah; all in good fun. Hehe, its true alot of people get wound up; even me at the beginning but now i take things as jokes. Im here for the great info from some knowledgeble members and post my experience/little knowledge when i can be of help to someone and make a joke here and there. trust me though as you are a new member, dont post thing up like doing burnouts all day or speeding on public roads etc; people have a hard time with police cos of the reatrds who hoon n break the law all the time making the skyline group 'meat' for the police. That said, i dont mind watching a good burnout in an industrial zone when no1 is around.
  6. lmao, mate ill pay for a session to have one night with jessica alba or misa campo. the whole wrx thing was always a 4 door practical rally style car with boy racer looks. The new one is a little too.....tame; my cousin has the new STI in white and although the cool little details like the seats, flared arches, brembo brakes are cool and it goes nicely; jst not worth the pricetag. He had the old version and steeped up to this (a rexy fan forever) but now is selling it cos it jst dosent float his boat.
  7. Translation: U have an r34 SMIC in your r33 and 'dont know' how hot the intake temp is; not talking about water temp here. I have a photo of my car from the auction house in japan, cant get any new ones cos my cars been impounded from doing burnouts all day long (30seconds before getting caught) lolz jst mucking round

Unless that r34 gtr has some major JUN built motor and track setup suspention n chassi; the cost of this conversion would be quite alot considering you can buy an r35 gtr in japan for like under 8million yen, sell your r34 gtr for 4million yen minus the cost of the conversion at 2million yen; only need 20k equivalent au dollar extra to have a real r35 gtr. Wait what country is this in, if its in the us, au or eu then i can understand lolz.

You mean the middle bar on the oil pressure gauge? that seems normal but the oil light probably is related to the engine revs on startup, maybe give your afm's a clean; wait are you running a map sensor now with the fc or stock ecu? definitely get a compression test on the motor n maybe while you got the engine appart, change the oil pump, water pump n timing belt/cam gear etc; cheap items compared to the possible damage of an oil issue or a snapped timing belt. Definitely get it tuned asap. good luck man.

Its a megaphone to make your dose louder, its a microphone that amplifies the sound of the flutter from the pod and pumps it out through a speaker hidden in your front bumper at 3 times the volume lolz.....jokes there are 2 plugs unconnected just above it, what used to be there? dunno gtt's but is that where the original oem actuator was? perhaps its some form of boost control unit like a filter

I thought of this idea a while ago n thought it was great as you can use the stockish intercooler pipes slightly modified n paint the cooler black to avoid any attention. dunno about their efficiency as the xr6 makes power from lower boost and larger capacity, mounting this cooler to ur r33 which needs more air displaced at higher temps might be a bit difficult for it to cool at 350rwhp; either way, try it out n maybe add some WMI later down the line, tune fore safety jst in case of a hot day but since its mounted at the front, doubt it will get heat soak quickly like the side mounter; jst no standing burnouts n u should be cool.

Congrats man, i know skylines are rare in the US so finding a tuner is gonna be your biggest hassle. most mechanics should be able to install parts who have had some experience with turbo cars but go on youtube and search 'ignition DVD' looking for an r33 gtr imported into the USA and tuned by a shop who have it up to 1000hp now, its midnight purple; probably called 'rh9 usa' that workshop would be your best bet in terms of rb26 experience, dont settle for a v8 tuner who does everything by carby lolz goodluck on the build mate, lets see some results hopefully soon, any pat you need is avaliable in japan and the au so im sure the traders on this forum will be able to ship some parts down to you if you need them, n at the better us dollar exchange rate, pretty cheap too.

  14. ahahaha, i love this misses vs car analogy's, lemme try: my misses is like an r35 gtr, very clever, tame and dosile most of the time but can still set my pants on fire when the mood strikes and with those 2 turbos, sucks pretty hard too lolz. maybe we should have a thread dedicated to guys comparing their girls to cars; good idea ey!
  15. I bought the superlap edition 'time attack edition 2' from a newsagent in bundoora square so looks like ill know where to get it but ill probably order this third edition through the site so i can get it as early as possible, those gtr's on the runway is just too temping to watch; cant wait!

Looks great mate, glad to hear your enjoying it! you think a gtr is more fun to drive? the evo would be nice n light, nimble n great chassi; how's response? get that gut thrust that the gtr's torque gives you? With those slicks im sure it makes you look like schuey on the track lolz; ive heard the gearbox is a weakpoint in the evo, is that true or am i jst hearing things? let us know how ur mates GTR feels to drive bro -Be safe n take care

Congrats on the new car man, ive got a bit of a love-hate relationship with evos but in white with carbon boot/spoiler and bonnet are amazing or that gunmetal grey colour; please tell me you got one of those? Hope you enjoy ur mates GTR jst be careful cos you dont wanna bend it n being on a track n all.....insurance cough cough What mods u have done to da evo? basic bolt-ons? hope u post some pics, would love to see it -Johnny

Slicks??? stripped and modded. shitload of headwork to get that time im sure but kudos to the car, love the k20 motor n given credit where due but its jst the honda fanboys who believe they are the be-all and end all of performance is what rattles my tree. lolz anyways: skyline or supra with slicks, stripped, running a high flow turbo and supporting mods would probably run that same time or better for cheaper. I really wanna see both unstripped, both manual, both on street tyres then we can compare n give a congrats to the quicker car.
  21. its true, if i had an NA; id tune it for 98oct so more ignition timing etc but i guess the stocker ecu would keep the tune safe for 95octane fuel if there are no mods etc.

Dont wanna be a pro turbo kinda guy but a stripped out honda with fully tuned 9000+ rpm motor getting a head start in 1st gear (5000+rpm) against a potentially stock automatic supra; looks automatic to me cos if it was manual, we would have seen some wheelspin. the car comes stock 280hp, it says 400 but how'd they know that; a guess because it has an exhaust lolz hondas are geared high too, 6th gear on the freeway at 100km/h is over 3000rpm; top speed is limited to probably 200kph which is where the race stopped and the supra was gaining some ground. again love hondas vtec engines and cars but why do they have to prove the whole drag thing ? dyno queen blah blah reminds me of that chick member with an NA r34 and a signature saying how she'd rather have a fast NA than a slow turbo? what the hell does that mean...phoa phoa some people give you such an ego boost cos they are soooooo lost n ignorant.
  23. if you havent bought the -7 tubos yet, id swap em for the -9's; new design, more efficient and same response with a better top end. A mate of mine has a racepace built motor with -5's running the stock ecu until he has enough money for an ECU and it was run on the dyno with safe AFR n Knocks etc. But best tune asap to get your full potential, power fc is great as its plug n play

Ive test driven alot of cars and im only 22; -took a bmw m3 out, the dealer did come with me but took me to the mountain roads to thrash the car. -audi rs4; dealer didnt come with me so i gave that car hell for an hour or so -clubsport GTS from holden, dealer came with me but let me put the foot down and told me to drive a little harder buut i was nervous in the rain -honda jazz, used the tiptronic gearbox to redline it; dealer didnt mind -200sx s15; dealer only complained when i went sideways round corner...said be careful - Bought this car -ford fiesta; put the foot down a couple of times n gave it some corners, dealer didnt mind at all -mazda 3; dealer didnt come with me so i did some handbrake manouvers in it -toyota landcruiser; dealer didnt come so i went offroading for an hour n made a quick stop to the carwash lolz -Rangerover sport; dealer didnt come so tested the v8 out nicely -BMW 3 series 325i; dealer didnt come with so gave iit hell but was boring so jst returned it - Bought this car new -Pergeo 206; fantastic little car; dealer didnt come with so gave it some corners and engine revs -Volvo v50 i think; had the car for a day but was boring so drove it sedate. -Hyundai getz; a-b car so gave it some revs but i bought this one thats about it really, jst dress nice, be confident and act rich - rock up in a GTR, a BMW or an audi etc they take ur liscence n make a photocopy for infringement notices but give the card back to you
