  1. Very cool video, nice wheelstands!!!!
  2. I have a BMW so im on e46fanatics.com amazing site with plenty of tech info for alot of other makes including the x5, x5, e90, m3 etc.
  3. Once i had a dream that someone swapped an rb20 into my gtr n stole my 26; phoaaaa i woke up soaking wet from sweat.....well i hope it was sweat lolz
  4. Hey Tez, Lolz well not that mate but when i had mine it was more like "look at me, look at me." and "Listen to this, listen to this." Im definitely not with the NV or SHY croud
  5. I used to own [sPOOL] on my s15, was surprised it was avaliable at the time but when i tried to sell it; didnt even get an offer so i jst sold them with the car. another r34 gtr in my area had [GTR-01] which he bought off a torana i think....did they have a gtr model? I really would love to have the plates [JOHNNY] which i saw on a red c4 corvette 4 years ago but im sure it would fetch a pretty penny.
  6. As a first car i wouldnt pass up a honda or toyota; like an eg civic with b16 vtec engine, very simple to work on and reliable as hell....they boogey too....price will come under budget. or i have my aunties hyundai excel for sale at 3500bux 01 model if your interested.
  7. Electrified bonnet so that when the police go to open it, they get a shock n squeal like a pig.
  8. This will probably be locked as there are plenty of threads on it but short answer is yes the turbo spool and 'dose' will be louder; dont forget to block your blow off valve but your turbo may suffer in the long term.
  9. +1 i bought some contact cleaner for afm from autobarn @ 20bux and game my afms a clean and the car seems to idle better and feel smoother in the rev range; although it probably aint the problem, i now think its a must as afms seem to get dirty quite quickly.
  10. Hey man, nice flames hehe. Im not sure u wanna do the dumps as they will probably remove the turbos for that so the labour will go up but if you do then maybe throw on some braided lines oil/water for ease of maintenance and reliability in future - possibly even port the exhaust manifolds to get a nice smooth entry and exit of exhaust into the turbos cams come to mind? a small step up in lift will help out in the power band; thats not really removing the head but still a little work. AFM's would be a great idea as the ones u have now are stock and getting dated so it may hold back optimal tuning and one day they will 'go' requiring a new set anyways and more $$$ for dyno time. good luck with the choice man, keep us posted
  11. U mean a spray painted stencil? Like alot of brand names e.g arc, hks that i see on alot of coolers
  12. Hey man, post the link as there is a dodgy trader on carsales.com
  13. Dont think its a problem, i got mine with xenons + alot of cars have xenons standard today, the especially annoying 4wd's who tail you on the freeway; feels like they put their highbeams on grrrrrrrrrrr.
  14. Ive never seen above 90degrees, mostly 82. only time i saw 89-90 was on a 40degree day during summer so i drove with my heater on full blast; took the temp down to 86-87 quite quick although heater + 40degree heat was unbearable lolz. i agree with everyone, coolant flush for air pockets and new thermostat
  15. wheres the hot pipe going to? maybe inside the cabin
  16. Lmao! ill check out the gameplay n reviews on da net n get back to ya if im interested
  17. Young hoons ey? so the 40+ year old with the hot rod and muscle car dosent count Im all for this new law as lowered cars can be dangerous e.g the vl with no rear springs
  18. Reistance 2 n GT5 are sold! Still have: Grand Theft Auto IV - $40 posted F.E.A.R - $30 posted Wanted: Weapons of Fate - $30bux posted
  19. True huh, should have added some things to that; more i wanted to know about a basic modded gtr with 245tyres, sports suspension and the basic bolt on upgrades/tune from 250-320awkw. Reason why is that RWD cars can find it difficult to get down the quarter and it seems that GTR's seem to pull respectable times frequntly even with a novice driver (like me for instance) e.g was watching high octane dvd and they were testing silvias from 300hp to 450hp and the quickest down the quarter was the lightly modded one @ 300hp. The first and only launch ill ever do was fantastic, it just took off like a rocket with a few spins...whats it like with 300awkw (50more than what i have) Anyways jst wantd to say congrats to the bloke n give a thumbs up to nissans awd system as it seems to do consistant launches without so much fine throttle balancing.
  20. Oh is that true mate? didnt know that! thanks for that
  21. Mad post, i like reading how a car can make someone happy; like the boss of jaguar once said "the car is the closest thing we have engineered to being alive." Ive driven an r32 gts-t before and they are a real nimble car with nice power (dont know what people are talking about with the rb20 being down on power)
  22. Thats pretty damn good missing a gear n still doing a 12.4. Jst wanna ask a question from anyone with a gtr; how is the traction in 1st gear? ive only ever done one launch at about 6000rpm n there wasnt much wheelspin.
  23. Vspecs also has some little things different like aluminium pedals n no drivers side handle lolz dunnno why 100% always get a compression test on any car you buy + leakdown inspection....again all this stuff is covered in quite a few guides ive read on here.
  24. I highly doubt that unless its been modded/tuned really poorly or tracked all the time. The engine is quite strong, able to make up to 800hp on stock internals (granted not for long) but if it is strong enough to take that punishment then im sure a lightly/properly tuned rb26 would do the 100k.
  25. Was a good game, kinda like halo but with better graphics n guns + friggen huuuuge bosses; reminded me of fighting the monster from cloverfield
