+ 1 experienced it in my auto s15; shut down on a skidpan quite a few times. had 040 fuel pump and full tank so i think its more AFM based cos i had no BOV and no aftermarket ECU

Hey bro, I havent tried anything else apart from shell v-power; I was under the impresion that all these premium fuels had to be 98octane?? Ill try some synergy, vortex etc. next time and check my knocks on the pfchc Maybe go for shell cos i havent had any problems with it.

I have an r34 gtr and not many people look; not as many as you would expect but then you get the psychotic stalkers who you can hear over your stereo system screaming "omg omg gtr my life is complete" I had 2 attractive females follow me in traffic blowing me kisses for a while; that gave me a selfesteem boost. Oh and my favourite is when you see the cars in front of you failing to keep in their lane due to their eyes stare'n at you from their front and side mirrors; thats f*kkk'n dangerous sometimes too!!!

??? Im not sure if its the same but an rb26 is about 4.6 litres at minimum; most people put in 5 for extra protection around high speed bends. 2.5litres is waaaaay to low; did your oil light ever come on?

Sound right to me; Ive seen many cars with 180+ kw atw do around 13.5-14 times. Plus you have a slightly heavier engine at the front of your car then an sr20

oh forgot to add; the new HSV thingys antenna would rattle at over 240km/h the range rover sports tyres would only hold just over 200km/h so it had to be limited to stop the tyres from bursting. Basically the speed is limited to whatever various components were made to cope with for long periods of time, not just a quick blast to 300km/h and stop. etc!

Put it this way; when the r34 gtr was imported into the UK, extra oil coolers had to be added for the european market as in germany the autobarn could see cruising at more than 180km/h for a few hours so extra cooling is required. Tyres might have to be changed to cope with the extra stresses.

What are the temps of the oil that people reach out on the track?? I personally have never seen over 88degrees in my car.

Seriously it shocked my exactly how amazing the RB26 engine is; i mean like the sr20 in my 15 was a good motor and responded well to a FMIC, EBC, Exhaust etc but only managed 166kw The GTR just gains power for very little money and this bloke who is asking for 200awkw will be in for a shock when he's pumping out 230-250awkw for only a couple of grand. To me a reputable mechanic or tuner is also the location and setup they use; I rocked up to CREATD ms and was blown away with a huge and clean factory with all modern equipment. Another factory was in the middle of a shithole with some sulphur or fertilizer factories nearby; the factory was old and dirty. This was meant to be a 'reputable' tuner as well. Needless to say the work was soooooo 3rd world I sold the car shortly after.

Panel beaters are some of the worst people in the business world; most are lazy, do dodgy work and charge waaaay to much for it. Sometimes they will also take your car for a thrash everyday until you get it back. In-fact one of the factories owned by my family is a panel beater in heidelberg west. The previous owner named Simon took a holden monaro out to whittlesea way for a joy ride with a mate and crashed it. The ride was written off and the friend died; Simon who was already 2months rent behind fled the state and we havent heard from him since. Most only take insurance jobs as they can milk the most money.

check for leaks? there are 2 boost set points; the first wont go higher than 1 bar. Thats how my old EVC was.

Thing is: 200awkw will feel fast for about 10days then you'll be chasing more. Push stock turbos which blow then upgrade to larger turbos and the engine blows then rebuild engine and max out turbos........then upgrade to large single and push it until gearbox blows then upgrade gearbox then house gets repossesed and you live in car tryna make ends meet by racing for pink slips and end up getting smoked by johnny tran.
