  1. Nothing wrong with auto, i love to relax! both my s15 and r33 and BMW were auto's; i had to learn to drive manual when i got my gtr. Best buy a manual though as there is a higher demand for manual cars when it comes times to sell it

  6. Hey guys, just a quick question about where can i get a 'VSPEC II' sticker or badge for my gtr. Reason is my rearbar is a bit scratched and i wanna get a respray but obviously need a replacement. Does anyone know where i could get one? maybe a sponsor or nissan? As you can see in da pic, it looks like a badge which would be preferable to me. any help would be appreciated. -Johnny ps: very off topic but i found this pic and i couldnt stop laughing.
  7. Hey guys, just a quick question; i have xenon lights on my 34 but as you can see the indicator lights are still orange and dont match. Does any sponsor on here sell replacements in a white or blueish colour or perhaps know where i can get some and cost? Tried to search but not sure what to type in; id appreciate any help in advance. Thankyou -Johnny
  8. Hey dude, i managed to go outside and find out what battery im running at the moment for ya; its from 'battery stop' It starts my gtr fine everytime and feels nice and strong; costing me 110bux which was installed by CREATD ms when they did my tuning. Do a quick search on google for dry cell batteries and you should come up with some shops which deliver and sell odyssey and optima etc. costing around 179-400 depending on which brand. for what you use your car for, just get the trickle charger like i did. Im using no real high powered stereo; nor will i ever (just a head unit and some good speakers) Takes a bit to install a new battery cos u gotta remove the rear bracing but shoudlnt be too hard. hope this helps mate, all the best -Johnny
  9. I vote Richard Hammond doing 170ish MPH upside down. Bless him he survived; go the hamster!!!!
  10. [HITONU] used to be on a midnight purple type x; owner still has them
  11. Cant see clearly but can i see hose clamps; like the ones you squeeze with pliers? if so then squeeze and twist and pull. Looks similar to what i have on my engine. ps: amazing engine bay!!! woooooww
  12. 03 BMW 325i with 150kw lolz lolz at 3-4 minutes with mrs!!! I had some sneaky pervert circle my car once when that was happening lolz
  13. Im impressed with people who take to this attention to detail. looks amazing!!!!
  14. I doubt it will get all the oil out part from 100ish/mls but dosent matter too much. I will be servicing my civic while im at it as well. if anyone is a little impatient to see how my results come out, try searching youtube, there are some great vids on there. oh and euro cars have been using em for ages in the states. They sell for as little as 65bux but i went for the more heavy duty 6.5litre model as i hope it will last.
  15. Oh yeah, sounds good. I also think its a good idea to eliminate the dangers of going under the car and having to remove the sump plug; splashing hot oil on your fingers then having to fish it out of the pan lolz. normally i wouldnt have gone for an option like this but the vspec lip makes it almost impossible to get underdr the car with just a jack.
  16. Coil pack plugs, sparkplugs. tighten all hoses. Goodluck, hope you find the problem.
  17. I just clicked 23,000 last night. Have log books so it seems legit lolz.
  18. Hey duncan, remember i had the same prob as you? well mines all fixed now after i installed my new EBC. I got the HKS EVC version 6. it hold boost nicely at 1.0bar in 3rd gear loads but in 2nd there is no stopping the boost spike to 1.10-1.20bar. Im contemplating buying the HKS actuators which are preset to 0.8-1.1bar and see if that helps. Oh a little problem found was a loose vacumn line under the plenum chamber which was throwing off proper boost control so you might wanna get someone to check it out. Took my tuner 2 hours to diagnose the prob; we thought it was the ebc faulty.
  19. Hey guys, Just thought id share some info on a product ive just puchased which i think is pretty cool and can make life much easier for the DIY serviceman. Basically its called an oil extractor, its like a vacumn for engine oil. Basically you put a tube down your dipstick hole and pump the oil out into its bottle/jug etc. The pros of this are; no need to replace/remove sump plugs and possibly crossing threads, no mess as the oil drips onto your floor. I am getting an oil filter relocator soon so i will be able to service my car without so much as a drop of oil in the bay when it comes time to replace the oil filter; not to mention the scuff'd knuckles when reaching into the engine to remove/replace the filter. Basically they sell them on ebay; i bought mine which is a 6.5litre unit with heavy duty components for $160. It has the ability to remove even 90weight oil. Ill use the unit asap on my gtr and post some more pics and a review on how/if it is easy or not. Anways just though id give the heads-up -Johnny
  20. tried a breaker bar? like a really long one? also the freezing idea sounds good to shrink the metal; maybe a bottle of nos lolz goodluck to you mate, hope it all works out.
  21. to be perfectly honest i dont even look at the price anymore, i just fill up. pretty soon ill be able to run nothing but race gas.
  22. That seems to the be the stock boost level of an r34, wouldnt be too worried. and it gives you some security against boost spiking in 1st and 2nd gear. Try it yourself, nail the throttle in 2nd and see what boost you reach on the mfd. then nail in 3rd gear and see what the boost reaches ps: dont forget to reset the mfd (middle joystick) everytime. you have an EBC??? computer???

  25. The gtr range is all good to me: it brings out the best in some people. Stop at a traffic light or pertrol station or maccas and you may end up having a conversation with a complete stranger. Many times ive had a smile, a chat bout cars, even dedicated v8 crowd will wanna have a chat about turbo engines. Alot of people dont like the r33 gtr but i like it, its kinda more grown up. Jst like a conservatively dressed female that bends over and you notice her lower back tattoo; might as well be a bullseye
