  1. How much are ae86's now? or was i thinkin of the aussie models with the jap spec motors.
  2. Thanks for that Alan, interesting read. after last night talking in this thread i thought id go for a drive to waste some old fuel and top up with some new juice. I took my jump starter with me but thought by the time ive done a few laps of plenty road that my battery would have recieved enough charge to simply restart my car......oh i was wrong. After all the bloody planning of not having to be embarrased ..... there i was in the middle of the pumps with people all around and me bending over tryna plug the jumpstarter. -Johnny
  3. I know the sound he is referring to; it the kickdown isnt it when your in 3rd and put the foot down the engine will rev up quickly when the transmission shifts down to second. I remember it when i had my NA r33 and my mates would all say it sounds like a vtec lolz

Anyone seen a red lancer with rims and [THALOT] plates. I mean comeon i know your a chick n all but u aint 'all dat' until you are: a) Three feet tall with a round hole for a mouth and a flat head so that you can put a pint of beer on it. b) has pullback ears and her teeth fold in. c) f**ks all night and at midnight turn into a roastbeef sandwich and a sixpack.

I jst got back from a drive about an hour ago and I came across this bloke in a blue vt commonwhore on plenty road bundoora which was lowered with big rims. I thought to myself "here we go" as he passed my ds window, as i looked across he gave me biggest 'muzza stare' possible before booting it so i could bear witness to the noise of gargling pistons.. Now the 'stare' you guys know the one, it looks like he wants to seduce you and in my mind im saying "cmon fabio put your cock away" anyways i dare not look again so i just mind my business before i turn into mckimmies rd. I also spotted a very tasteful black nissan gtir who turned out in front of me while i was at a light next to blockbuster video. I managed to hear a nice dose!
  6. Tough break about the taxi. If it was me, id go the r33 series 2 and create a 'just in case' fund. Try and buy one with the look u like and perhaps a dvd player already which will save you some dough.
  7. Anything wrong with an ae86!
  8. Perhaps you should get someone to remap the ecu correctly, if your in melbourne you can try dr drift. Hes been around for a while and is very good at tuning factory ecu's.
  9. Hey Rob, Just wanna say nice work on all your cars, you are by far the best fabricator ive seen. Should start trading on SAU, im sure you would get alot of business once people see your threads on the UK based forum eg Black r34 gtr and black drag gtr. That build thread kept me entertained for ages.
  10. hmmm well I have a power fc so what i do it put the hand controller on my lap (lolz that kinda sounds diiiirty) and everytime i want to give it a squirt i reach down and check the knocks. If all is good i check again a few times at round 5000rpm then im all good.
  11. Ahahahaha Terry! Cmon man that saved some money.........who paid for the lap dances then! I made money when i used photocopied 'save 5cent/l dockets' Next time ill just put your number plates on my car, fill up and do a runner!
  12. Not really mate, I mean i will go up to around 5000rpm but try to just cruise. Autobarn quoted me 70bux for 20litres of 110octane fuel so it seems like a good idea and plus if i tune my car on 98oct then it will provide extra protection from detonation on hot days. I posted another thread on the test results of octane booster by martini and it looked promising as well.
  13. Welcome mate, Congrats on the car, they are great toys. Im a big fan of top gear, have you had the chance to see the show live in studio? Never did get Benny Hill though!
  14. I hate the pet, im not gonna run one in my car. Anyways i dont run one but then again i dont drive my car much (6months and 1000kms) how can we compare/contrast this to a person with a car that does 10,000kms per year and boots it all the time? I dont know the answer to this question it just came to mind!
  15. Ive always been interested in this discussion, my gtr always must be jump started as i dont drive it very often and when i do i dont drive enough to charge the battery so my petrol right now is about a month old and i still have about half a tank. The fuels are carbon based and are high octane because they are complex structures. Anything organic will break down over time. Someone reminded me once that petrol dosent come straight from the refiners to the pump and might be in transit for a while so does that contribute to the period? Im not keen on refilling only 20bux at a time as its f*kn embarrasing to jump start a gtr in front of everyone at the petrol station lolz. Anyways this wednesday im getting a new dry cell battery so i wont have that problem. New idea! I will buy some race fuel and add about 5 litres per 20-30litres of fuel which will raise up the octane quite a few points and allow me greater storage life. Hmmmm???
  16. Must say, I have one on my gtr and its music to my ears. oh but when you start your car in the garage it leaves carbon deposits on the floor and door.
  17. Got this one
  18. Hey baron, Im sure that your right but again i just like the look of the unit so im upgrading. I have a booking for next wednesday at creatd ms for intallation so hopefully i will be able to give you some results. also anyone who is interested on the gains of pod filters on their gtr as well oh and i will be selling the HKS EVC 3 for a really good price for anyone who needs a boost controller and is a little low on funds. Johnny
  19. Yeah blokes, where can i get a set, i will buy em right now.
  20. Ive got a decat pipe from justjap. One of the best and cheapest mods ive ever done for power and response. just make sure you keep a stock cat in case you need a rwc or epa instection.
  21. yo, i jst checked it now. Seems fine to me.

A silver r33 gts-t on plenty road around 11:30pm-12:30am Nice cold night for a cruise, turbo's were loving it!
  23. Hey blokes, I just thought id update this thread with some pics of the EVC 6 if anyone is interested in purchasing one in the near future. I would like to comment on the quality as it seems very nice, solid and quite heavy. The screen is also very tasteful from an asthetics point of view I will be having it installed at creatd ms on wednesday next week so i should be able to post a little review on its strengths and weaknesses.....compared and contrasted to the current EVC version 3.
  24. Go onto youtube and type in hks gt-rs; there is a bloke who posted like 9 videos of his gtst with the gt-rs and it is amazingly responsive, frys the tyres very easily. it will change your mind on the highflow.
  25. oh sounds great, my car feels a little sluggish at lower revs so it might be a good investment. Thanks for the tip, ill grab a tomei set asap.
