Theres definitely wooden engine crate (box) which are used for shipping engines world wide. Any recommendations of decent reliable shipping company ??

Dont know if anyone can help me or point me int the right direction but I'm chasing a shipping crate for an engine block that I'm sending to Japan.. Yes,yes have tried google and have got a few replies from emails but the companies I have spoke to want to sell them in bulk. I'm after one engine shipping crate to send an engine block to Japan and then send my GT500 engine block back to OZ. Crate can be wood or metal box but must conform to Australia and Japanese quarantine standards. Basically world wide shipping crate. I'm not after a pallet but proper engine crate that the block can be packed up and sealed (nailed shut). While I'm at it also one for a gearbox as have one sitting at Auto Gallery Yokohama ready to get sent to oz. Any info, much appreciated Dont know if this is best spot for this so if not can mods move it

Yeah they are pricks and they can pick a newbie to Japan a mile away. You just have to speak to them in Japanese and tell them to f#@k off !! Big thing at the moment on tourists is credit card scamming. ( http://japantoday.com/category/crime/view/...ise-in-roppongi ) Best thing is to always pay in cash. You'll be surprised where you'll get into with a wad full of brownies (￥10,000 ) I prefer doing my dirty work in Nagoya in Sakai area..One side you have the exxy Japanese bars and hostess clubs etc and the other is a smorgasbord of Brazillian,Phillipine,Russian, and other very dodgy dodgy bars..just so much fun !!

Ok pics of a couple of rims... There are now some very minor marks from removing tyres by not so carefull tyre fitter . There is only slight marks on the inside on one rim otherwise like brand new... The marks are on the inside of the rim where the tyre sits. Am open to reasonable offers.. Remember these are insanely hard to get hold of in this sizing and lighter then TE37's !!
