  1. 1 Set of Tomei dump pipes sold... 1 Set for GTR32/33 still left at $750 delivered
  2. Yep sure will. Plan to enjoy my house here in the snow in Japan and have a good snowboard holiday and some fun in Tokyo and Osaka in Jan & Feb and all in all hook up with some friends here and run amuck. I'm back here in Japan for a month racing and sorting some business stuff out and sussing some new candy bars out.
  3. I'm looking at setting up a tour which will include visits to workshops etc but also places you couldnt take the wife.
  4. Still 4 sale and I'm in Japan so can organise this to be shipped or built in Japan
  5. Loach if your an Aussie all you need to do is take your Aussie license to JAF office and have it translated. You'll need to check the nearest one that can do that for you. Then go to the local licensing branch and pay your coin, have ya pic take and bobs your uncle..you have a jap license...done deal !
  6. You just have to look at Import Monsters comission and do the maths and he does make much percentage on the sale. It's your shipping costs that hurt from Japan as to send by post your limited by weight. 20kg usually for EMS (International Express Post) or 30kg if posting by Sea. Then there's size limitations to factor in. Trust me I've been through this so many times sending gear back from Japan. If it was cheap and easy then everyone would be doing it Unless your prepared to wait and send in a container you got to be prepared to pay a bit for freight. And like everyones saying, the coin your spending is bugger all for a set of imported shocks!
  7. Seems like iinet is the go. I'd rather pay more and have the confidence of something decent rather than saving a few bucks and have shit service. I'm bouncing back to Japan for a month this friday so macbook will be on downloading 24/7 and sort out iinet on return to Oz.
  8. They are the ducks guts of coils in Japan. Horribly expensive but used on alot of big power engines in Japan. More info here http://www.excite-webtl.jp/world/english/w...+%96%7C+%96%F3+
  9. More pics here.. http://photos.yahoo.co.jp/ph/s30zsatotatsu/lst?.dir=/28b7
  10. Keep the updates going thru the day fellas. Was keen to go but racing my car next weekend at a HKS Hyper Challenge race in Japan so saving a bit of coin. My bets on the Tomei Cusco WRX.
  11. Well hopefully after its complied I can finally see how that carbon shaft goes. By the sounds of everyone else I'd say 50/50 chance of no vibration.
  12. You need a degree nowdays to teach in Japan and get a visa. If your 30 and under from Jan 1st 2010 if you are an Australian National you can get a working holiday visa for 1 year and can extend that for 6 more months. Or you can do the visa run game...3months in, quick trip somewhere and back again but be warned its always a gamble coming back in and if you get black listed you wont get in again for quite awhile and if you do immigration and customs will put you through the ringer. Trust me, I did it for almost 5 years. Best bet, finish your degree then go have a suss and see how you like it. Once you have your paper, getting an english teaching job is easy as.
  13. What sort of download and upload speeds to do you get and how far do you reckon you are from your main server ?? 120GB (60GB/60GB) for 49.95 sounds ok ! Does it have to be bundled with your home phone ??
  14. Swiper I'd love to keep aussies in a job but whenever I call Telstra & Optus I end up speaking to someone in Mumbai who keeps calling me lovely dear...if they only knew ! Seriously the dealings I've had with Telstra since coming back border on comical as far as f#@kups are concerned. I'm 100% keeping Aussies employed but when they are useless as tits on a bull and slack and dodgy ..well its pretty hard to want to use them. In getting my home line connected, I came home to a broken lock on the gate trying to be fixed by the Telstra guy because he couldnt get in to check the line connection. Then theres the worksite out the front where he repaired the line and said he'd be back next day to finish up which was almost 4 weeks ago. Then theres Origin power company..dont get me started on these morons. Seriously the work ethic here in Oz has really gone down the tubes or either I'm accustomed to Japanese efficiency even though they are idiots. Anyway enough whingeing as it is good to be back but definitely looking forward to heading back next week for a few weeks of racing, cheap drinking and playing with candy that s so so gullible ! I still havent got internet setup as yet...they are all bloody expensive and it seems that I'm about 3km's from the nearest main junction so trying to workout whats going to be the fastest. Why the hell cant you just get fast unlimited internet access with cable TV without having to sell your left testicle, its highway robbery. All these plans, crap are a pain the arse trying to figure out whats suits your needs. For me its pretty, reason being, in Jappa I had the computers on pretty much 24/7 downloading/uploading as computers were pretty much our entertainment centre with listening to streaming music and movies. Still confused who and what to choose.
  15. Well, finally some good news.... After a lengthy call to Dotars this morning they finally advised me that my Private Import application was approved dnd that paperwork was sent out yesterday. It only took them 3 months ! Until I see the paperwork in the flesh I'll be holding off celebrating but hopefully the car will be on its way very soon. I'm bouncing back to Japan next week for around a month so hopefully I'll be loading her up myself and get a quick blast or 2 on the expressway but at least theres light at the end of the tunnel, finally.
  16. I'd like to see the Hi Octane 34 win the day but being a betting man Id be putting my money on the Tomei/Cusco WRX. I've seen this thing in japan and it did win at Tsukuba last year and Tarzan has had plenty of driving outside of Jappa, so shouldnt get flustered by a goat track. Will be an interesting couple of days. Good luck to those competing and heres hoping this is the start of World Time attack tour !
  17. This guy has the best lessons around !! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sp...ml#entry5237886
