  1. They'll sit WAY inside the guards. An offset of +45mm is usually suited to FWD cars. Running this offset on your car will *probably* cause the wheels and/or tyres to rub or hit on suspension components or inside the wheel arch.
  2. Hugh, if you know exactly what parts you need, have a look on the Nissan Electronic Parts Catalogue using your VIN for the 25G. Then, order the parts from Amayama. I've heard good reports saying they have good pricing on factory parts, and ship pretty quickly.
  3. Ahh okay! Good luck with your new ventures! I got my car back yesterday. GTX3076 .63 turbo with Tial 38mm external wastegate, R32 GTR front brakes with DBA slotted rotors, GSL HPX pads all around, 740cc Nismo injectors, Z32 AFM, Splitfires, etc. Not bad so far, need to make time to go for a decent drive and get used to it again.
  4. Turbo upgrade, brake upgrade, change of steering wheel (3-spoke S15 wheel - need to find a different badge for the centre, and I really should have had it reconditioned first too), injectors, Z32 AFM, etc.
  5. I've never thought to do that, I usually turn right into Richmond Rd, then right again, do a u-turn, then loop back around. Your idea is much better.
  6. The wheels should be stamped with their size somewhere inside them, they usually are. I'm guessing they're +30, not +40 offset. An offset of +40 is usually for FWD cars. Are you using an online tyre calculator? There are plenty around if you do a Google search.
  7. I'd hate to be paying to replace that rear glass if it broke!
  8. That must have been super-close to the rear door glass, right?
  9. LOFR (Lorring on the froor, raughing!)
  10. Yep, I was on my way to Unigroup to have a look at my car. Should be getting it back tomorrow (well, today, now, considering the time)! BTW, your car was looking super clean today!
  11. Spotted a silver AXIS on Station Rd in Toongabbie around 5pm, was that you again, Dave?
  12. I forgot about it too, Brett.
  13. There are usually a few great recommendations, but everyone will have different opinions - some good, some bad - so the final decision is up to you. Have a look at this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/228238-read-this-whos-the-best-tunerworkshopresprayerdetaileretc/
  14. Colin, have a look here on the Mwave page, they've got a few different systems both with and without recording functions, and 4 or 8 cameras included in their kits.
  15. Looks good, 3Katz! Where is darrinspencer hiding these days, anyway?
  16. Oh man, I've only JUST had some 32GT-R brakes installed on my LOLvo, and am waiting to get it back once the other work is complete. Timing, hey?
  17. Epic thread dig, dude!
  18. Yep, probably 3/4 of all of those ugly blobby Hyundai Excel drivers did this back in the day. Thankfully it doesn't happen anywhere near as often now, at least from what I've witnessed.
  19. With such a crappy photo, I'm guessing they won't be able to identify the culprits too easily, and will put the case on ice...
  20. Seriously, if you're not here to post about your car and instead to have a sook and start name-calling and such, I'd rather you all shut the hell up before I start waving the ban stick around. I don't care who started it, everyone involved will be dealt with equally.
  21. Spotted Alex (or his wife?) leaving SMSP this afternoon around 4pm, unfortunately I was just getting to the track. Then I spotted Theo doing solo laps ("I'm getting my money's worth!") on the track itself before the end of the day...
  22. In theory, and purely as a hypothetical, would a can of Coke poured over paint work as well?
  23. Yep, do it once and do it properly! A rebuild is the way to go, and if you choose high-flow, it won't hurt to have the extra potential available for later. (Remember, it's always good to have options.) If you can spin the spanners, you should have the old turbo off in a few hours. It's a bit of a tight fit and will take some manoeuvring, but you can get the turbo out without removing too much of the bits in and around it.
  24. White M35 (possibly AXIS or ARX) on the M4 heading Westbound today around 2pm. I got on the freeway in Prospect and by the time I'd reached Walgrove Road it was too far to bother catching (I was sitting just above the speed limit and it was slowly pulling away).
