  1. Spotted Ryan ("Bodella") last night at a club exec meeting.
  2. Spotted a silver 350RX at the Sydney Datsun Show today @ Prospect Hotel. It was parked around the back as if it was being hidden away... 277197_10151158013215369_1923639940_o by GoldZilla, on Flickr
  3. You mean New Shanghai in Ashfield? I absolutely LOVE that place! They've just done a refurbish of the premises and it actually looks quite nice inside now, and is a bit bigger too. The kitchen has been relocated, but it's still behind glass so you can look in. Dunno why they have two of them in Chatswood - are they on opposite sides of the suburb? I've only been to the Ashfield one.

  5. Something like this, everyone???
  6. Bulldoze the new houses, as revenge for them taking away an epic track!!!
  7. If it's mounted in a "commercially available" fixed cradle, then I believe it's still legal to use it... Yeah, I see that all the time too, Alex. Even worse is that one of the first things to come onto the screen when you turn on a GPS device is that warning stating you shouldn't place it where it will block your view. Once again, proof that "common sense" is far from common.
  8. Exactly true, Sydneykid used to tow an R33 GTSt with his s1 (and probably still does - he hasn't been on here for quite a while as far as I know, so we have no idea). Also, Duncan would probably still be using his s1 to tow his R32 GT-R around if he wasn't busy with other things at the moment. (On a side note, though, Duncan has upgraded his car to an RB30 and replaced the auto box with a manual.)
  9. Awesome idea, Leon! There's a massive lump in the road as you approach the railway overpass bridge in Toongabbie, and the first time I drove over it a few months ago I very nearly got airborne, and the car lifted enough to throw it offline. Mind you, I'd already slowed down enough to turn onto the bridge and the light had just turned green, so I was in no rush... Might have to break out the fluoro-coloured spray paints and mark the road. Then we'll see if Blacktown, Holroyd or Parramatta councils will again fight it out to see who's responsible for fixing it (or blame each other for it not being done). That seemed to be their excuse for not upgrading the bridge itself properly...
  10. Oi! *shakes fist in mock attempt at anger*
  11. It's common sense to indicate BEFORE you reach a roundabout (you're supposed to do it at any intersection where you're turning/veering off the normal course of the road), but it's incredible just how uncommon that common sense is...
  12. Crap, I woke up with a killer migraine. Guess I missed out on a good day.
  13. Ummm, there is a shopping centre in Strathfield too, Corinne. It's been a long, long time since I went there, but it does still exist.
  14. I'm still keen, should probably go to bed soon so I have a chance of waking up.
  15. Lalor Thai, on the border of Seven Hills and Lalor Park - tiny little restaurant, but always busy and the food is tasty and cheap! They do pick-up and delivery too.
  16. Good work Eric, that should be fairly useful when it comes back to putting the timing belt back on, too.
  17. I spotted StageIan and bodella on Friday night at the Pizza Cruise (which didn't have pizzas, but oh well...) Josh, were you working at the Sony sale today? I was gonna head down, but heard that the queue was out the door with like an hour's wait... Did I miss anything?
  18. Bloody Volvo drivers... And yeah, I'm forever young!
  19. Ah crap, that's not a good way to end the night. Are you okay?
  20. What car should we be looking out for, Mars - is the R33 back to full health, or are you bringing the FailCoon/LTD?
  21. ...and?
  22. It's a real shame he doesn't spend much (if any) time on these forums now. His knowledge is invaluable and he's a great bloke in the flesh as well!
  23. Oh yeah, that must have been what caused the multi-car pile-up on the M4 today in/near Silverwater. Two trucks and at least two cars, it's a mess!
  24. Is anyone missing a Go-Pro suction cup mount?
  25. So in actual fact, there's nothing really dangerously wrong with your car, but because it's different (and maybe the cop was in a shitty mood?), they decided you needed more hassles...
