  1. Red c34 s2 with L-plates leaving the Bunnings car park in Villawood (near Woodville Road) on Sunday around 5pm, might have been the same car Raf spotted at Canley Vale.
  2. On a serious note, the SAU-NSW club bank account has taken a MASSIVE hit over the past two years, as Eric and Dave have mentioned. We've been trying to put on track days at Wakie, but if they're poorly attended, then we're stuck paying the bill for all those who said that they'd come but later changed their minds. And even managing to secure a day at the track itself (especially on a weekend) is getting tougher and tougher, especially since Oran Park closed down. Eastern Creek is almost impossible and highly unaffordable. Think of it this way: a track day might cost each person roughly $5-600 each time when you factor in travel time, petrol, accommodation and the event itself, but you get the chance to go as fast as you feel comfortable in a safe environment with like-minded souls. You go home tired, but with a massive smile on your face and a sense of satisfaction. Would you rather that amount of money (or more) go towards fines and a potential loss of licence for doing something stupid on the streets???
  3. So you've finally moved on from those BBQ rotisseries rotary-powered things, Andy?
  4. I've barely posted any of the shots I took this month, so here are a few of mine as August draws to a close... IMG_5810 by GoldZilla, on Flickr IMG_5750 by GoldZilla, on Flickr IMG_5619-2 by GoldZilla, on Flickr IMG_5621-2 by GoldZilla, on Flickr IMG_5629-2 by GoldZilla, on Flickr
  5. Oh, and I should be able to come along - will confirm closer to the day.
  6. That Scott guy is a shady character - not sure if he's wearing a wig or stuck in the 70's...
  7. HEY HEY HEY, WHAT'S WITH ALL THESE SLURS AND STABS AT EACH OTHER. IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY (and please take notice that I'm using Caps Lock here), THEN PLEASE FIND SOME NEW MATERIAL, ALL OF YOU! Just kidding, continue on... (For any other mods here, the above is just casual stirring, and I am quite aware of what is going on here - no blood, no foul.)
  8. Spotted a black C34 s2 heading towards Kings Park on Johnson Ave/Vardys Road today around 4.25pm, I was heading the other way towards Seven Hills in my dark green s1.
  9. IMG_5704 by GoldZilla, on Flickr This one got re-blogged today on Superlap Australia's FB page.
  10. Check to see if your metering on the GoPro is set to "Spot Metering," which is the small dot in the middle of a square. That way, it takes a light reading from just the centre of the image instead of the whole screen (Evaluative Metering). That might help, bet even then with a GoPro it can be hit and miss unless you have the LCD Backpak or can aim it almost spot-on out the windscreen.
  11. Yep, was a good night. Not a bad feed, and pretty easy and direct to get home.
  12. LOL, don't you live in Quakers, Ian?
  13. The beef and Guinness pot pie was good, as was the company. Not sure if I'll be able to make the next one yet, will have to see what happens closer to the date.
  14. Flying solo, mate, but my sis and her fiance will likely be there later (roughly 9.30ish) on as they do band practice at the school around the corner and usually head there afterwards.
  15. Hey Will, welcome to SAU. I've got that HyperRev catalogue too, but I can't read Japanese either. What did you want to know, specifically?
  16. Ryan (Bodella) and I were both there last night in each of our own cars. Oh, could it have been the one we had on the Stagea 15th Anniversary cruise, Theo? A white S1 260RS with black TE37 wheels?
  17. I'm sure I spotted Duncan or Kel yesterday around 5pm in the Cube, turning off Parramatta Road (just past Norton Street) in Leichhardt to go towards Stanmore/Newtown area.

  19. Try posting in the Wanted To Buy section.
  20. Spotted that silver M35 again on Targo Road in Toongabbie yesterday afternoon, and I've been seeing it there regularly now - it's a stock-looking 250RS, standard 6-spoke wheels, no special custom rego plates or anything.
  21. Everyone who's previously said they were coming along, could you please confirm. And also, everyone please mention if you're bringing others along too. It will make it easier for when a booking is made.
  22. Moved to the Events section...
  23. +35 is too large, especially for an ARX. What you should look for are lower offset wheels, so they sit further out of the guards.
