  1. He's not too bad at stringing a sentence or two together!
  2. Hmmm, I was in Quakers on Sunday (for Texi) but not yesterday. The silver Mail Call one is sh@un, it's his work car (as a courier).
  3. Pearl white, Alex? I spotted a pearl white one turning onto the M2 off Pennant Hills Road on Sunday evening, and when I got off the M2 at Seven Hills/Winston Hills, he continued on towards the M7.
  4. As mentioned, there is the For Sale section for this - please read the rules (here) and post this in the correct section (here) if you haven't already...
  5. A twin-plate has its advantages (like a lighter pedal feel compared to a single of similar power handling capabilities), but if you want a twin-plate, go for a full-face one. I just recently replaced an Exedy single plate (was supposed to be a heavy duty) with a Nismo Super Coppermix twin, and the Nismo is so much nicer to drive with!
  6. Depending on designs, why not? Also, check out Shamrock Shirts for a few different designs of shirts and stickers, in both C34 and M35 designs. C34: http://www.shamrockshirts.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2378&category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=71&vmcchk=1&Itemid=71 M35: http://www.shamrockshirts.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2380&category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=71 (I've got one of these stickers - the C34 one - on my car.)
  7. That's about 2mins from my house. Spotted that silver s2 C34 again yesterday on Wentworth Avenue in Pendle Hill.
  8. Hills area, may also have a black or dark grey Ford Territory in the driveway (assuming they still own that car)? He's an SAU forum member, but we haven't seen him in here for ages.
  9. Oh, and screw the super-taxis - why watch the fun when you can be having the fun yourself?
  10. OK people spots are filling up, so please DO NOT wait until the last minute to enter this! The event has been posted in a few different websites and forums and it is generating a fair bit of interest because lots of people have heard about it and are keen to see what all the fuss is about. And yes, Day Light Saving starts that morning, so you will lose an hour of sleep. Please don't forget to factor this in when going to bed the night before!
  11. Love that shot too, Jay! Like Sidd said, is that a vertical pano? Or did you shoot in portrait and crop to suit?
  12. You sure you didn't get the basic kit (pretty much camera and case only) instead of the Motorsports kit?
  13. Mine's got V35 Skyline wheels on it, and they're 18x8 +30mm wearing 245/40/18 tyres. With that wheel and tyre combination, the speedo reading is near-on perfect, which is an extra bonus - I've checked it against 4 different GPS units and 2 different iPhone apps that read speed off GPS and triangulation.
  14. Two more Sydney events coming up, guys and girls: SAU-NSW Official Royal National Park cruise, Sunday 30 September 2012: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/408642-saunsw-official-social-cruise-nasho-park-sun-30-sep-2012/ SAU-NSW Official Texikhana, October 7 2012: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/408631-saunsw-texi-sos-7-oct-2012/
  15. 225 on a 7" wheel should be fine.
  16. Have you thought about asking for help from your (or your parents') local GP or specialists? If you've got a good relationship with them, then there's a surprising amount of stuff they can either get very cheaply or, sometimes, for free when it's a requirement for your dad's recovery. Sometimes it's just a few small things, but then again over time that can add up to substantial savings which will help you be able to afford some of the more expensive items you might require. Best of luck to your dad with his recovery, and to you and your family in the efforts to get him back to health.
  17. There are a few that are good and a few that are not-so-good (and those not-so-good ones will remain nameless, as per forum rules). I've never bought a car off a dealer, but I've met and spent a fair bit of time dealing with the guys from Top Secret Imports as well as the guys from JapLink, and would recommend both places. It really depends on who you're comfortable dealing with, who you think is being genuine (and not just being nice to you in order to get a sale out of you), and what budget you've got to deal with. Some people have good experiences with certain dealers, some don't. This is why you should read this thread...
  18. I'll vouch for the JJR bellmouth too - it was probably the first mod I did to my car (I bought it with a 3" cat-back already fitted), and it made a massive difference to the way the car responded to the throttle, especially in day-to-day driving.
  19. Carried 30 plastic/steel stackable chairs in the back of mine on Saturday to be transported to my sister's wedding ceremony, and it's the first time in almost 6 years of ownership that someone (other than my old man) has driven my car without me in it. Forgot to get a photo.
  20. Nope, Josh, even our "Official SAU-NSW Cruises" have insurance. You never know when something unexpected might happen, and the club risks getting sued due to injuries and/or damage sustained by an innocent bystander.
  21. If you haven't already read the "Buyers Guide," then you NEED to. Here's a direct link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/92065-buyers-guide-the-nissan-c34-stagea/
  22. Hell no - the way my bottom lip is sticking out reminds me of Bubba from Forest Gump... This is why I hate appearing in photos!
  23. Looks awesome, Scotty! Gotta love those V35 wheels too! Hmm, now that the warmer weather is coming along, I'm keen to do a shoot of mine soon.
