  1. Something is very wrong, take to mechanic... $50 inspection, $5000 rebuild...
  2. unplugging the computer and low voltage wouldn't break it, unless it was a short or whatever, so it must be something else.
  3. all intakes will fit if they are from the same class (ie a huge V8 might not..). externals obviously will always fit. R33 GTR pump is same as 32 AFAIK.
  4. power steering fine. they did diagnostics, nothing wrong. so i will take back sometime for more precise tools. the dude said he had a GTR that had the same problem, owned it 5 years, last 3 it was on... the other problem is 4WD light coming on every 5th or so time, meaning only 2WD mode. restarting car fixes that... again no fault they could see :S
  5. a decat i had once rattled because there was something inside, when we opened it it was just some of the cat material. anyway, just get a new one, very cheap

  9. did up the screws properly on the silencer thing has it been de-cated, that would explain it too..?
  10. its loose from the chasis, or something inside is loose. i had the same thing when my adjustable exhaust thingy was loose.
  11. Pretty sure 6x9s fit in the parcel for 32 and 33 GTR, without cutting. I could go check. Anyway, seems like you have all the options, everyone is saying about the same

I have: Rear CV joints (2) Rear diff Rear HICAS stuff (not 100% sure what, pics) Rear hubs (2) Rear sway/strut bar Misc other rear suspension and driveline stuff Generally everything comes with all required/attached doohickeys (break line, oil line etc). Basically $50 for each or make an offer. 3134 vic pickup, or can post at buyer expense. Can take pictures if required, but I'm sure you know what they all are.

  14. will get them to fix alignment on thursday then. even though i took it back once pedders still didn't align the steering wheel with the dash as i asked
  15. Was driving fairly normally, then just coming back home through speed trap area things. Foot to the floor between them, after the 2nd one I noticed the hicas light come on. I've recently had it aligned, and its fine at 110kmh so somehow I doubt it is that, although google suggests. Am taking to mechanics on thursday for other things, but what could it be, or what should be checked? someone mentioned fluids could be low, where is the hicas reservoir?
  16. somene else asked this recently, we believed they were the same. but no one definitively said :S
  17. increasing boost without a tune is both dangerous and sometimes completely useless. you could see no gain at all if something is holding it back (besides the boost). a tune isn't that expensive.
  18. no difference between turbo and not in terms of the throttle body.
  19. just call nissan dealer or repairshop, they'll have the OEM part number. or any autoelec really. as for bosch, check their site? or japcars/justjap?
