Dunno but remembering back to 2004-2005 all the 32GTRs I saw on carsales and being imported had about that much. So even if they aren't genuine, they certainly aren't any more or less dodgy than the rest. Who knows. Certainly doesn't look like it has 30-40kkm knocked off it. Someone did comment about the rear looking like it had been hit and rebuilt, maybe that is how/why the importer got it cheap (and face it, there *are* GTRs with 25kkm on the clock, just that they go for a mint). The OP for example, surely many of the Vspec2s have 60-70kkm on them?

You naughty hoon! Yea when I had my 33 gtst was always the envy of other p-platers, I'd always say yea its cool blah blah. Always reminded me of bruce almighty when he's in the Saleen S7 and he's like "yea it gets me from a to b" >_> Nowadays though haven't had as much attention. black 32 gtr with the gtr badge taken off and totally messy and looks shit <_<

mmmm, nom nom. you can drift with FWD!!! lol 290kw on 14 is very decent anyway.

WTF is "like -5s" lol If they aren't -5s, then I'll give you 'like' $14k <_< Uhm yea and you could have my prelude. sold the ECU a while back but everything else is still there. b20a6, gt2860rs (disco potato), all custom IC piping etc, not dynod with proper pump as it died and hadda put a cheapy in but will be at least 200kw decimates medium modded skylines and commos etc. been to winton a couple times.

Very interesting question, I believe the 32 and S do share the same frame but I'm not sure if it extends to subframe. You might have to consult owner/repair manual thing, see if they list the same part IDs. Otherwise maybe Nissan (wreckers) might know? Worst comes to worst, bodyshop will be able to modify it to fit.

Derp derp. Any car can do donuts >_>

If you don't plan to increase power any further, a single 044/040 will be fine. Or if you plan to track it/more power, you'll need a proper surge + dual pump setup. Walbro is OK, I got plenty of friends who use them, anecdotes aside though Bosche are generally better.

The reason for high prices for rental is popularity and risk... just cos the GTR costs less than a Lambo doesn't mean you don't need to charge more.

Yea I was going to fight, but lawyer f**ked up and it'd be another 3 months, so just decided to bite the bullet. We *might* have won, especially because it was only a small distance and low speed. *But* if the judge was in a bad mood he would rule against me. Just so everyone knows, even given police instructions you *CANNOT* break the law. Fixed.

sadly i'd agree with magna. good fuel consumption, not crap inside. tbh just spend little more and get a gas VS/VT.

Tee in anywhere really, but make it the last item before the main IC body.

Boost Controllers - Which One For My Situation?
Thelen replied to Little's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
+1 change actuator. You won't get defected and much much safer than possibly tuning it wrong or screwing up the setting and blowing your turbo/engine. -
I'm curious about this too. If you put in the leg-work to get it transfered to the company please make a thread. I'd be interested in doing the same thing, not because I plan to be a dick and hoon, but police are so bullshit dumb when it comes to offences (in my case I got a failure to wear seatbelt ticket after being told *BY THE POLICEMAN* to move my car forward... go figure )

If you are going to make a business out of it, especially for SAU members, you are a lot better off working out group stuff. ie, a bunch of guys get to drive, lowering the per-person price. I'd also suggest trying to organise track sessions and so on, so people can fang around without risk of crashing on the streets or loosing their licence. Personally, since you can get like 4 laps or whatever in one of the V8 supercars etc for $300, I'd probably only pay $500 for say an hour cruise in the city, or a couple 15 minute bashes on a track. Insurance/deposit would probably kill it for most people though, so you'll have to take that into account. I'm only 22 and no way I can afford to loose a 10k deposit even if its only $500 for a go, and I imagine most of the people that couldn't afford $1k+ for a day wouldn't be able to afford the deposit either way. With regards to targeting 35+yr olds, you need to do a combo or day-event type thing. You won't be able to do it with only 1 GTR though which is a problem. I was thinking, you'd start off with a lunch at some fancy restraunt, then the guys would get to drive the GTRs (perhaps 2 per) up to one of the tracks, where they'd get say 4x15 minute bashes around the track. Then drive back to the city, drop off cars and dinner at some other fancy joint. Plenty of people would be interested in that for $1k, but you'd have to waive the 10k deposit otherwise too much risk for them.

Derp derp, I hate people that keep secrets. Isn't like anyone else will make financial gains out of knowing what you built into this GT-R, but whatever it is your money The race-spec Nismo variant looks interesting, 720k seems quite reasonable really considering all the support and 'warranty' that would be gained.

perhaps a couple from workshops like top secret, but none others *properly* modified like this.

R32 Squeaking Rubbers Up Front
Thelen replied to Live it sideways's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yep, had this problem myself. Front left strut bushing was replaced, they didn't oil it. very annoying rubbery squeek sound. you know for sure if you push down on that side and it still does it -
Yea 5k will easily get a standard rebuild especially if you get the engine out yourself (about 1/3rd of the work is out and back in). Otherwise based on pricing +1 to 2nd hand, you'd get 2 for the price of a decent rebuild.

Replaced A Blown Fuse And Now Car Wont Start
Thelen replied to RIPae86's topic in General Maintenance
Sounds like alternator is stuffed, meaning battery is run down hence why it stalled. Get RACV out. You'll be able to recharge the battery but without alternator it won't run long. -
oh, you said touring not two ring? Touring cars are generally 'family' cars, as opposed to 'performance' cars. There isn't much distinction though. Onto the topic, I love having a GTR as a daily. Still hasn't fully sunken in that I finally own one, I forget to feel superior when I go past 'plain old' GTS-Ts >_> It isn't really any less/more practical than any sports/touring car, anything with *go* is going to be impractical for some things. But dude... GTR...
